"Miss Xu, are you alright?" A strange man appeared in front of Xu Nianhua—he looked somewhat familiar, but she couldn't quite place him.
"Thank you."
Xu Nianhua stood up from the platform, brushed the dust off her clothes, and looked at the man, still feeling that something was off.
"No need." The man had just started to speak when he suddenly stepped forward and shoved Xu Nianhua aside. Right where Xu Nianhua had been standing, a stone flew by and slammed into a nearby tree, making a loud noise.
Xu Nianhua hadn't figured out what was happening yet, and now not far away, Ma Zhijun was fighting with a man in black. There were no fancy moves—the man in black who had suddenly appeared looked downright vicious.
Xu Nianji couldn't hold himself back any longer. When Ma Zhijun started fighting, he didn't care whether he could fight or not; he went at it punching and kicking, cursing all the while: "You dare go after my little sister!"
