"What's this?" Xu Nian'an asked as he looked at the snowy white stuff.
"It's whipped cream!" Xu Nianhua answered, and at the same time, she scooped up a bit with her finger and put it into her mouth. The sweet cream seemed to dance on her tongue, and her eyes squinted with joy. She'd been busy all afternoon, but it finally worked!
"Is this edible?"
Xu Nian'an asked doubtfully, but he imitated Xu Nianhua and tried some. He smacked his lips and said, "It's too sweet."
"If it's not sweet, how can it be tasty!" Xu Nianhua savored it, squinting happily. She loved eating this kind of sweet stuff. How long had it been since she last had whipped cream?
Looking at the small bowl of cream, Xu Nianhua felt a bit regretful. If only she'd made more.
