"Mom, you really shouldn't be doing all this. You're always busy at the factory, so when you're home you should take it easy."
Xu Nianhua walked down from upstairs into the kitchen and saw the dumplings wrapped and set out on the cutting board. Feeling bad, she said, "Mom, you should sleep a bit more."
Ji Ying is already busy at the factory every day, and still has to get up early in the morning to make dumplings.
"It's fine, I can't fall asleep even if I lie in bed," Ji Ying urged her, "Go brush your teeth and wash your face, the dumplings will be ready soon."
"Mom, you're the best!"
Xu Nianhua hugged Ji Ying, acting spoiled. Her soft, girlish voice made Ji Ying feel as if her daughter was still very young. Xu Nianhua's straightforward words made Ji Ying a bit embarrassed, so she purposely put on a stern face and said, "Alright, you're all grown up now, still acting like a child. Aren't you afraid people will laugh at you?"
"They won't, people are envious enough as it is."
