"Guoguo's right." Chang Hui nodded in agreement. She thought about how she looked when she gave her speech on stage—she herself felt like she wasn't even the same person who used to not dare speak English!
If it weren't for Xu Nianhua's encouragement, forget the scholarship, she probably wouldn't have been able to say even a single word on stage.
"Me too." Fei Jiayi was especially grateful to Xu Nianhua. She said excitedly, "You don't know, my aunt praised me and said I've made huge progress!"
"Oh, my aunt is Fei Meishu—Professor Fei, the one who was talking to Professor Jenniel." Fei Jiayi explained eagerly. It's not easy to get a compliment from her aunt, after all.
Back when she was applying to Beining University, she had her aunt tutor her in English quite a bit, but in the end, she barely scraped by on the last points to get in.
In her aunt's words, she just doesn't have much talent when it comes to languages.
