"Lin Wei!" Xu Nianhua shouted as she chased after her.
Lin Wei heard her name and stopped walking.
"Wei-jie!"
Xu Nianhua called out sweetly.
"It's Nianhua." Lin Wei's lips curled in a smile, gentle as a spring breeze, giving off a warm feeling. She said, "Long time no see. My dad always mentions you, says you're the smartest student he ever taught."
"I've only just returned a few days ago. I haven't visited Teacher Lin yet." Xu Nianhua smiled as she answered, then asked, "Wei-jie, where are you working now?"
"I'm still a teacher in Lianxin Village. What about you? My dad told me you got into Beining University's Ningbei campus. How is it? After college, you really are different—getting prettier and prettier." Lin Wei used to live in the school dorms with her dad, and Xu Nianhua had always been one of his favorite students. Lin Wei was pretty familiar with her.
