In the evening, Xu Nianji came back with Ling Dong and found out that his mother-in-law had arrived.
"Xiaohe, are you alright?" Xu Nianji instinctively looked Zhou He over, worried that his mother-in-law might have given Zhou He a hard time again.
"I'm fine, my mom's not a tiger." Zhou He was amused by his actions and said, "My mom came today just to ask about selling bean sprouts. We've talked it out, so it's nothing. But what about you? Is it tiring learning to drive? Is it hard?"
"Dong-ge is teaching me. It's not tiring at all." As long as Xu Nianji came home and saw Zhou He's sweet smile and the whole family gathered together, he felt happy and didn't feel tired at all.
Xu Nianji talked a bit about learning to drive and delivering goods, and after a few days, he was starting to get the hang of it.
But...
"Sis, could you teach me?" Xu Nianji, a bit embarrassed, handed a book about mechanical principles to Xu Nianhua.
