After a busy round of checks at South City Hospital, Ji Ying finally met the attending physician. The doctor's last name was Li.
Li used many medical terms that Ji Ying couldn't understand. Xu Nian'an, standing beside her, took the initiative and explained them in simpler words.
"Not bad, young man." Dr. Li praised. Xu Nian'an looked like he actually knew something about medicine.
Hearing someone praise her son, Ji Ying, as his mother, was proud deep down. She explained, "My son just got into Medical University in Ningbei. He's been learning some basics from the county doctors during the summer."
Dr. Li looked at Xu Nian'an with surprise. He looked only a little over twenty, but it turned out he'd just finished the university entrance exams, and he wasn't going to the local medical university but Medical University in Ningbei.
Everyone knew that Medical University in Ningbei was highly ranked among medical schools in the country. To get in there meant a bright future ahead.
