Zhou Xinyao's finger hovered over the dial icon, then she changed her mind and put it down. She crawled out of bed, went to the bathroom for a quick wash, grabbed her bag, and left again.
Seeing her about to leave, Shao Meiru asked, "You just got back, and you're leaving already?"
Zhou Xinyao didn't respond, feeling that she couldn't find warmth in this house, couldn't she go out and seek it herself? She slammed the door shut without looking back.
The TIM bar wasn't open yet. Seeing someone enter, the waiter immediately approached to explain but merely nodded and returned when recognizing it was Zhou Xinyao. She was a friend of the owner and already a familiar face here.
She placed her bag on the bar and gestured to the bartender, "Can I order now?"
"Miss Zhou, whenever you want a drink, you can get one," the bartender smiled, "But Brother Zhao hasn't come in yet today. Do you want me to call him for you?"
