The noodle restaurant owner snapped, "Stay out of this!"
"Stay out of it?! Our shop was smashed up, and you don't even dare to let out a peep, are you even a man?"
On the way back, Xia Lu suddenly received a phone call, from the number she had dialed earlier.
"Hello."
"My husband didn't explain things clearly just now, we can't just let the incident at the restaurant go," came a woman's voice, "We need to meet up and talk things through. You can't expect to pay a penny less for what you owe."
Xia Lu was somewhat surprised. She had just refused, and now she was agreeing to it. She couldn't figure out what had happened in such a short span of time, but she still agreed, "Alright, when are you available?"
