The investigation into Zhang Jiunian had not yielded any significant leads. Zhou Mingchen felt as though he had hit a wall.
Zhang Jiunian did indeed have substantial assets, but no vulnerabilities could be found; most had been acquired in recent years. Moreover, as a shareholder of Hongli Group, the dividends alone each year were significant, making it virtually impossible to approach from this angle.
He needed a reason to meet Zhang Jiunian, to personally probe him, but he was hard-pressed to find an opportunity.
"How was the madam today?"
"Not bad, she ate quite a bit, just seemed more sleepy," said Madam Zhang. "But that's a good thing, isn't it? More sleep is needed to restore one's health."
"Mhm," Zhou Mingchen nodded. "Make her some nutritious dishes lately, she probably won't be able to eat anything in a month."
"Certainly," agreed Madam Zhang. "Don't worry sir, I will definitely take good care of the madam."
