"Ta-da! The Elf Administrator of the Elysian Archive Room—an ELF modeled after me, Elf Elysia!"
Elysia pointed proudly at an ELF that had yet to be activated. Elias's eyes lit up the moment he saw it.
A three-head-tall "Elysia" lay on the sofa in the archive room, as if fast asleep.
A tiny angelic halo hovered above her head—unlit for now, perhaps because the ELF wasn't powered on yet. Two fluffy, cloud-like wings sprouted from her back, and her small legs—no longer than twenty centimeters—were clad in mismatched black and white stockings. A cute pink cape draped behind her.
Beside the Elf Elysia stood a staff half as tall as she was.
"Cute!"
Elias immediately gave his official verdict.
"Of course~ After all, it's an ELF modeled after Elysia! There's no way it wouldn't be adorable!" Elysia said proudly, hands on her hips.
"Makes sense. So, where's the power button? Is it hidden under the foot like Judgment of Shamash?" Elias asked curiously.
Although the Mu Continent had sunk, ELF technology had been preserved and developed.
The Fire Moth now possessed an expanding ELF army. The "Judgment of Shamash" Elias mentioned wasn't the Divine Key, but rather a combat-type ELF modeled after Kevin—[Elf Kevin].
That was the one Elias had dismantled back in the Current Era.
Its power was roughly one percent of Kevin's—still enough to annihilate a typical Judgment-class Honkai Beast or even a Herrscher.
However, due to the astronomical cost of combat-type ELFs, only one [Elf Kevin] had ever been built.
"Nope~ Power buttons are so un-cute. To wake Elf Elysia, you have to say the activation phrase."
"Activation phrase? What kind of phrase?"
"Mhm~" Elysia smiled mysteriously, then picked up a blank archive sheet and wrote something on it before handing it to him.
Elias glanced at the words and smiled faintly.
"That's it?"
"Yup! Simple, right? But if you say it too quietly, you might have to try again."
"Even if I had to shout this thousands of times, it'd still be fine. Ahem—My dearest Elysia!"
Elias cleared his throat and called out the activation phrase clearly and confidently, his voice brimming with affection and warmth.
At that moment, the ELF known as Elf Elysia emitted a startup chime.
"...Program initializing... System calibration complete... Personality module loaded."
The next second, Elf Elysia's eyes fluttered open. Like a child waking from a dream, her clear, pale-blue eyes reflected the two before her.
"Wow~ A human! Hello, adorable human! I'm Elf Elysia, from the land of eternal harmony! I came here just to meet you!"
The tiny Elysia spoke with a radiant, innocent smile.
With her voice and appearance, one might truly believe she came from some land of fairies. She looked like a little angel—perhaps even Cupid herself.
"Haha, you really are just like your original. Hello, Elf Elysia. I'm Elias. Can you tell me how to use this typewriter?"
"Oh my~ such a hasty human! I only just woke up, and you're already making me work? But... since I'm a kind and gentle elf, I suppose I'll forgive you~"
Elf Elysia floated into the air, placing her hands on her hips. Then, tapping her halo twice, she made it glow a soft pink before nodding in satisfaction.
Afterward, she drifted toward the typewriter on the desk.
"Now then, allow me to introduce you to this device—The 'Elysian Information Data Collection Console Interactive Output...' Ahem! I mean, let me tell you about this magical typewriter!"
(Uh, I can't even remember that full name myself. And that naming style... yeah, this has to be Vill-V's work, one hundred—no, one thousand percent.) Elias thought to himself.
"Listen carefully, adorable human! This typewriter can record and print everything that happens and is documented within the Elysian Realm in written form. But remember, it will only ever print the factual truth, no exceptions!" said Elf Elysia earnestly.
She began to demonstrate how it worked, pressing several buttons whose functions were anyone's guess, and then started typing a question.
"If I only explained it verbally, you might not fully understand. So~ let this cute elf give you a little demonstration! Let's see, what should I ask... hmm~ got it!"
A lightbulb seemed to appear above her head.
"Let's start with something basic but clear! Question: What is the relationship between Elias and Elysia?"
The next second, the typewriter began to move on its own.
Click-clack, click-clack, click-clack...
[Elias and Elysia love each other deeply.]
That was all it printed—just one simple sentence. But it filled an entire page. And it didn't stop there.
The machine went haywire, repeatedly printing the same line over and over until smoke started rising from it. Sheets of paper covered the entire floor of the archive room, each one bearing that same sentence.
"Uh, what's going on? Is it broken?"
"Oh my~ what a surprise! Though it only prints objective truths, when a fact carries exceptional importance, it tends to emphasize it—by repeating it multiple times!"
Elf Elysia scrambled to check the machine while offering her explanation.
"Let me think... according to the Great Magician's design, important facts should be printed three times, very important ones ten times, and super important ones thirty times..."
"Uh, but this is already thousands of times."
Elias looked down at the piles of paper scattered across the floor, each sheet repeating that same line.
Even accounting for spacing, that single sentence must have been printed thousands—if not tens of thousands—of times.
"That only proves, adorable human, that the love between you and the mature me is so deep and vast it surpasses all measure~ Congratulations on achieving the 'Love as Deep as the Sea' achievement! Truly enviable!"
"Wow~ I didn't expect the bond between Eli and me to be so strong that it made the typewriter overload! I'm so happy~ but um... is it broken now?"
"Don't worry, don't worry! Let me check the maintenance manual... First do this, then that, and finally... hmm... ah... forget it! Heave-ho!"
Elf Elysia flipped through a maintenance manual as thick as a dictionary.
Vill-V had indeed provided a complete technical manual for the typewriter, with every part meticulously annotated—but the elf ELF herself wasn't exactly an expert in engineering.
Simply put, Elf Elysia couldn't really understand Vill-V's notes. So she opted for the simplest, most direct approach.
Using her hefty-looking staff—
She whacked it hard!
Duang!
The result: the typewriter stopped functioning entirely.
"Uh... I think it's completely dead now."
"Eh? R-really? How strange! I swear I followed the manual exactly!"
Elf Elysia scratched her head awkwardly, staring at the smoking machine with several keys popped out and sparks flickering between them.
To be fair, the manual did say that hitting it might sometimes fix minor malfunctions—with a very low success rate.
Elias could only smile wryly at the sight.
"Alright, let me give it a try."
"Waa~ thank you, adorable human!"
"No problem."
Elias pulled out the second-generation Divine Key—Codex of Truth—and entered the keyword [Elysian Typewriter]. In the next instant, detailed data about the machine appeared before his eyes.
But instead of repairing the broken typewriter, Elias simply constructed a new one from scratch.
"There we go. That should do it. The broken one's your problem now, little elf."
"Mhm! Got it!" Elf Elysia cheered, happily taking the new machine. She connected it to the Elysian Realm's system, ran a few tests, and finally sighed in relief when everything checked out.
"By the way, since your love is already so deep, human, when are you and the mature me going to get married? Oh—and don't forget to invite cute little Elf Elysia! I can be your witness~"
"Sure. I'll definitely invite you when that day comes."
Elias imagined it for a moment.
Elf Elysia scattering flower petals from the sky during their wedding—yeah, that would be a perfect touch.
"Then it's a promise! Don't make the cute elf wait too long, alright? Ah... if you two have nothing else to do, why don't you go on a date at the amusement park outside? I need to clean up the archive room now."
Elf Elysia said as she began tidying up.
For an archive room administrator like her, seeing the room buried in paper was absolutely unbearable. Soon after, Elias and Elysia left quietly so she could work.
...
"That typewriter feels perfect for a game of Truth or Dare... or maybe even Werewolf," Elysia remarked.
"I like Truth or Dare just fine, but Werewolf... I don't know why, but just hearing it gives me a weird, unpleasant feeling. Werewolf... Elysian Realm... Wait—ow! My head!" Elias pressed his fingers to his temple, feeling a sudden sharp pain, like some forgotten memory was stabbing him from the inside.
"Eli! Are you alright?! Don't scare me!"
"I'm fine, I'm fine. Looks like some buried memories just tried to resurface. Let's go somewhere else."
He shook his head, forcing the thoughts away, then looked toward the distant horizon of Elysium Everlasting.
"I'm kind of curious about that amusement park the elf mentioned. By the way, it's impressive—an ELF modeled after you really is cute no matter what she's doing."
Though he said it with a smile, Elias's expression quickly turned regretful.
He remembered the Elysia ELF he had ordered custom-made long ago. Just when the project was nearly complete, the Ninth Herrscher had appeared and blown the entire Mu Continent sky-high.
That meant his long-awaited Elysia ELF had been destroyed too. Just thinking about it made him furious.
(Damn that Ninth Herrscher! Fine, you didn't leave me your Herrscher Core—but did you have to destroy my custom Elysia ELF too?! I swear, I'd kill you all over again if I could!)
"Hehe~ If you like them that much, Eli, I can give you your own Elf Elysia," Elysia said sweetly.
"Huh? Wait—you mean there's more than one?"
"Yep~ Elf Elysia is a mass-produced ELF. Actually... I might have, um, accidentally entered the wrong quantity when ordering. So the engineering division ended up making fifteen of them."
Luckily, they weren't combat-type ELFs—otherwise, she never could've afforded them. And since ELF production didn't support refunds or returns, she was stuck with the full batch.
That left her with fourteen spare Elf Elysias sitting in storage somewhere in the Elysian Realm, collecting dust.
"Uh... seriously?"
Elias couldn't help but laugh.
"Hmm... You know what? I've got a better idea. How about you release all of them, Ely? Let's make them the first official residents of Elysium Everlasting. We'll turn this place into that 'Land of Eternal Harmony' she mentioned. Doesn't that sound fitting?"
"Waa~ That's an amazing idea, Eli! I'll release all of them later! But then... I'll need to assign them roles. Hmm~ what should I have them do..."
Elysia started thinking aloud.
But before she could finish—
Rooaaar—!
With a thunderous roar, a Chariot-class Honkai Beast suddenly materialized on the plains of Elysium Everlasting.
"What the—?! A Honkai Beast?!"
Elias stared in shock, instinctively summoning the Sword of Domination, ready to annihilate the creature with a telekinetic strike.
"Ah, it's fine, it's fine! No need to panic, Eli! This kind of thing happens sometimes~" Elysia waved her hands quickly.
"Ely, why are there Honkai Beasts in the Elysian Realm?" he asked, frowning.
"Oh, come on now~ This world is built from our memories, remember? It's normal for Honkai Beasts to show up every now and then. But don't worry—they're basically part of the realm itself. They won't cause any real damage."
Elysia shook her head lightly as she explained.
After all, both she and Elias had fought and slain more Honkai Beasts than they could ever count—likely in the tens of millions by now. Though it wasn't exactly a pleasant part of their past, the Honkai were still a major part of their memories.
Because this Elysium Everlasting was constructed from those memories, Honkai Beasts would occasionally manifest within it. Sometimes, even corrupted data fragments would take form as beasts.
Still, they were nothing more than inert echoes—residual data within the massive system of the Elysian Realm. Harmless, even if unsightly.
"Even so, it's still kind of unpleasant. This paradise you and I built shouldn't have any trace of the Honkai in it," Elias said, frowning. As he prepared to send the Sword of Domination flying toward the Chariot-class beast—
"I understand how you feel, Eli. But don't worry! Our realm has its very own powerful guardian!" Elysia said with a playful glint in her eyes.
"A guardian?" Elias blinked, puzzled.
"Yup~ And look, he's already here!"
The moment Elysia spoke, a small figure dropped from the sky. In his tiny hands, he wielded a miniature version of the Judgment of Shamash: Might of An-Utu—and with a single strike, he cleaved the Chariot-class Honkai Beast clean in half.
It was another ELF.
But this one's gear was nothing short of extravagant.
In addition to the mini Shamash, he also carried a mini Echo of the Sky, a mini Seven Thunders of Retribution, a mini Hand of the Void, a mini Oath of Judah, a mini Sword of Domination—and more.
He was equipped with miniature replicas of nearly every Divine Key ever made.
One glance was enough to tell that, like the combat-type ELF "Elf Kevin," this one was a battle-type model as well.
But that wasn't the most shocking part.
The key detail was his appearance—
Snow-white hair that gleamed flawlessly, golden eyes filled with unshakable resolve, a soft and youthful face with a touch of baby fat, and a tiny three-head-tall body.
Elias instinctively touched his own face.
"Wait... Is this ELF modeled after me? Three of them?!"
"Bingo~ You guessed it!" Elysia cheered. "He's the guardian of the Elysian Realm—our very own ELF: Hero Elias!"
