Chapter Thirty Four
A radiant Married Man

A glance at the clock by my bedside had me realizing it was time to leave my bed. It was just five minutes past five o'clock in the morning, the same time I usually woke up. I always rose at this hour, as far as I can remember, no matter how late he slept.
But ever since cohabiting and living as a married couple with my wife, I was heavily reluctant to leave my bed. Her soft snores echoed in my ear, and unable to resist the urge, I pulled her to me, firmly holding on, not wanting to let go.
Her lovely scent filled my nostrils as I buried my nose in her hair, wanting to memorize and take in the scent of her soft skin. Raven stirred in her sleep, but she didn't wake up. Like always. I smiled before dragging my body out of bed and get ready for work.
