The anger dwelling in Brooke's chest suddenly dissipated all at once, and in it's place was a cold shiver that ran down her spine.
"Gilbert what are you saying? Why would Matthew do that? He may be crude at times, but he'd never harm his brother-" her words were cut short when Gilbert dropped another reveal to her.
"But Matthew has already tried to kill master Grayson in the past." He told her.
Brooke's heart skipped a beat, "W-What are you talking about?" Was he being serious? Or was he just trying to cause conflict. What did he mean by that?
"I can't speak right now, please come home and I'll tell you everything about Matthew, and what's done to master Grayson." He said, then disconnected the call before Brooke could even give a response.
In a rush, Brooke gathered her things, called for her driver and rushed outside to meet him, ignoring the hollering from the director.
