ZINA'S POV
After much deliberations, Zina and Zelkov decided to bury her mother in the West, at a specially built tombstone situated right at the former dwelling place of the Screamers Pack.
The burial was a dreary affair. And Daemon didn't leave her side for one bit throughout it all despite her insistence that he returned to the North already.
His excuse was that there was no way he would miss such an important event of her life, regardless of the fact that technically speaking, they no longer had any ties to each other.
As he stood by her side through the ordeal, she was secretly pleased to have him by her side, even as she counted down to the days when they would be apart.
