At Beta's last words, the other three androids finally reacted.
Alpha gave a small, warm smile.
Zero clenched his hand, his fingers tightening slowly, as if he was already running through calculations and scenarios in his head.
And Iris… the corner of her lips twitched.
In the end, neither Alpha nor Zero commented.
Iris simply nodded once.
Then, as if she couldn't be bothered to stand any longer, she suddenly materialized a grand, majestic throne beneath her and sat on it, crossing one leg over the other like a queen receiving reports from her generals.
Only then did she turn her attention to Zero.
"It seems you won't be able to use the excuse of lacking manpower anymore."
Silence met Iris's playful words.
But she didn't mind.
Her tone sharpened, losing that smug edge, becoming more serious.
"Either way, for now, concentrate on doing your missions successfully, without leaving any loose ends."
"If you can't handle many targets, that's fine."
