midnight. staying quiet, walking up to her table where she usually sat alone. It was finally lunch at her middle school, so she had twenty-five minutes to eat before class. midnight was twelve; quite tall for her age, she always wears a blue ribbon over her eyes, and she had very long dirty blond hair with a red tint and blue tips that was usually down. an alarm sounds while Midnight is eating, it's a lockdown alarm.
'Shit, I should hide,' Midnight thinks to herself; she takes cover under one of the lunch tables. she hears the intruder enter, then he shoots a full round of bullets, one of the bullets hits another student in the leg, Midnight turns towards where the intruder is, then she crawls out from under the table and stands up facing up to him. the intruder puts away his gun and pulls out a knife. Midnight raises her fists as the man raises his knife.
"let's do this" midnight says to the intruder grinning. As she moves to punch the intruder, the intruder easily blocks the punch stabbing her in the arm.
Midnight yelps as she reaches to hold her arm looking mad the intruder tries to slash at her face Midnight manages to barely dodge with a wound on her forehead, but she falls over. The intruder grins and moves to stab her chest and Midnight looks away using her arms to try and protect herself, but the expected blow never comes. As she looks up, she sees what looks like a white barrier with gray spots covering him completely.
"What in the world is that?" midnight questions looking confused as she stares at the barrier. As she lowers her guard the barrier dissipates, and she realizes who made the barrier.
'How did I do that?' she asks herself, as the intruder stumbles back looking scared and confused. Midnight then stands up, and the man looking up terrified; was speechless.
midnight while grinning she holds up her hand and tries to make another barrier, but instead of the barrier a blue swirling portal appears and sucks her in
