"What are you doing?" Xia Qian demanded in an unfriendly tone. "You were beaten by them, and he defeated them. By all rights, you should be thanking him."
"Yes, yes, I should thank him." Huang Ming looked at Wu Tian with a smile that wasn't a smile. "Thank you."
Wu Tian's expression was calm as he gave a slight nod. Whether Huang Ming was being sincere or sarcastic, how could he not tell?
Huang Ming was furious. He couldn't beat the men from the Stick Country, yet Wu Tian had defeated them. What did that imply? That he, Huang Ming, was inferior to Wu Tian?
