With a single punch from Zhao Rong, a loud bang echoed as a cloud of dust billowed into the air. The assistant felt the ground give way, as if he were falling into a black hole, but before he could fall far, Zhao Rong swiftly grabbed him and pulled him back up.
"Damn it," Zhao Rong said, surprised. "What rotten luck. There's a manhole down there…"
The assistant turned to look at the collapsed manhole cover that Zhao Rong had shattered, his eyes wide. "What about that four-eyed guy? Where'd he go?"
Just as everyone was searching for the man, a voice drifted up from a nearby septic tank. "Help! Help me! I'll never run an extortion scam again! I'll never try to swindle anyone ever again!"
Hearing the man's cries, Zhao Rong found a rope and tossed it into the tank. When the four-eyed man saw it, he clung to it like his last lifeline and used every ounce of strength he had to pull himself out. He emerged drenched in raw sewage, the stench so overpowering it was nauseating.
