As soon as Lin Chen stepped out of the cave, he saw two men standing not far away, hands clasped in front, while scattered around the entrance were numerous shattered stones, seemingly broken from a massive boulder, which explained the earlier loud noises.
The two men appeared to be middle-aged, one tall and the other short, both wearing gray robes that Lin Chen recognized as the attire of outer sect disciples.
Lin Chen frowned and asked coldly:
"You two, may I know why you smashed my cave?"
Both men smiled, and the tall one spoke casually:
"Kid, you can babble on, but don't accuse us without evidence! Do you have proof it was us who smashed your cave?"
Upon hearing this, Lin Chen's eyes narrowed slightly; it was clear these two were here looking for trouble.
"Oh, if it wasn't you, then carry on. I'll activate the soundproof barrier of the cave and let the enforcement team investigate tomorrow!"
