Hao Jian opened the door, and at a glance, he saw Shu Ya curled up on the sofa watching a TV drama. Immediately, he grinned, placed his things down, and said with a smile, "What? Were you so eager for me to come back, is there something you were waiting for me to do?"
"Get over here."
Shu Ya rolled her eyes at Hao Jian and then pointed to the sofa next to her.
"Alrighty!"
Hao Jian trotted over, and his suddenly transformed demeanor made Shu Ya burst into laughter. Unable to help it, she asked, "So, what did you go out to do?"
"Why are you back already when I'm only just back?"
Upon hearing this, Hao Jian froze for a moment and chuckled awkwardly, "I just went out for a bit."
After saying that, he immediately changed the topic, asking, "Didn't you say you'd be back in a few days? Why are you back as soon as I return?"
