A week had passed.

To most, it was nothing, just a mere handful of days.

But to Luffy?

It was an eternity.

The system's restrictions had forced him into this temporary stagnation, making him itch for action.

But Luffy wasn't one to sit still.

Even if he was stuck waiting, he kept training, grinding his Daily Quests and pushing himself in the Limit Space every chance he got.

Yet, even that wasn't enough to quench his thirst for a real fight.

And so, when he wasn't crushing through his system challenges…

He was sparring with Kuina.

The Training Field

Reaching level 60 had granted Luffy access to a new portion of the Time Chamber—the Training Field.

Unlike the main chamber, this area didn't have a time difference, meaning they couldn't compress years into mere days.

But that didn't matter.

Because here…

They could go all out.

No Marines watching.

No restrictions holding them back.

No worries about getting caught.

Just pure, unfiltered battle.

And for Kuina, that meant one thing.

A chance to get closer to her Captain's level.

The Training Field trembled under the weight of their presence.

A heavy silence hung between them, punctuated only by the sound of Kuina's controlled breathing and Luffy's lazy yet confident grin.

Her katana gleamed, reflecting the dim glow of the field's artificial light.

Luffy, in contrast, stood with his hands in his pockets, radiating an effortless dominance that only made her fingers tighten around the hilt of her sword.

"Alright, Kuina," Luffy said, cocking his head. "Show me what you've got."

Kuina's heart pounded. And then she vanished in a blink of an eye.

A blur of silver and blue, a hurricane of speed and precision.

Shing-!

Her blade sang as it sliced through the air.

Luffy tilted his head, dodging by a hair's breadth. His eyes gleamed with amusement as Kuina twisted, her second slash already coming down.

BOOM!

Luffy blocked with his forearm, the sheer force of her strike sending a shockwave rippling through the ground.

"Oho? Faster than last time." His smirk widened.

Clang!

Kuina spun, her blade coming in from the side but Luffy ducked and retaliated.

Fwoosh-!

His fist rocketed toward her ribs.

Kuina parried.

The impact sent a metallic ring through the air, the sheer force of Luffy's strength vibrating through her sword and up her arms.

But she didn't falter.

She advanced.

A downward slash.

It was a feint. Her real attack was a sudden thrust.

Luffy avoided them all, moving with fluid grace, his instincts sharper than the very edge of her katana.

"Gotcha."

His hand shot out, aiming for her wrist but Kuina anticipated it.

She vanished.

Luffy's eyes flickered.

"Oh?"

A sharp gust of wind behind him—

Shing-!

He turned just in time to meet her blade with his bare fist, coated in glowing black Haki.

BOOOOM!

The impact cracked the ground, sending a massive shockwave that kicked up dust and debris.

Kuina gritted her teeth. "Stop dodging, Captain!"

Luffy chuckled. "Make me."

And then he disappeared.

Kuina's eyes widened.

Too fast.

A force against her back—Luffy's palm, shoved her forward.

Her instincts screamed as she twisted mid-air, her katana glowing with Armament Haki, slashing the moment she regained control.

Clang-!

Her sword met Luffy's forearm, but the moment she landed.

BOOM!

A fist to her stomach sent her skidding back, her boots carving trenches into the dirt.

Luffy whistled.

"Not bad."

Kuina's breathing was ragged, but she didn't waver. She wiped a bit of sweat from her brow, a smirk curling her lips. "Getting slow, Captain?"

Luffy raised an eyebrow. "Oh? That so?"

BAM!

He was in front of her before she could blink.

"?!—"

A sharp flick to her forehead sent her staggering back.

"Ow!" Kuina glared, rubbing the spot. "That wasn't fair!"

Luffy only laughed. "All's fair in a fight, Kuina."

"Oh~... is that so?"

Suddenly, Kuina's smirk returned.

Fine.

If she couldn't overpower him…

She'd distract him.

"Are you sure that's the real reason, Captain?"

Luffy blinked. "Huh?"

Kuina took a step closer, the smirk still on her lips.

"Maybe…" She dragged a finger down his chest. "You're just afraid of hurting your precious little Kuina~?"

Luffy twitched.

Her voice—her tone—was far too playful.

He knew what she was doing.

And yet… It still worked.

His body stiffened ever so slightly, and Kuina caught it.

Oh, she loved this game.

"Come on, Captain~" She purred. "Give me your all."

Luffy sighed, rubbing his temple.

"...You really don't know when to stop, do you?"

Kuina giggled. "Nope~."

Luffy grinned. "Then I guess I'll have to remind you."

Before Kuina could react Luffy moved.

Faster than she could track, he was behind her, an arm around her waist, pulling her flush against his chest.

Her breath hitched.

"Luffy—"

Her voice was cut off as he tilted her chin up, forcing her to meet his gaze.

That grin.

That knowing, wicked grin.

"You love teasing me, don't you?" He murmured, his voice low, velvety, dripping with dominance.

Kuina swallowed hard, her body trembling in anticipation.

She knew exactly what was coming.

And she craved it.

Luffy suddenly spun her around, pressing her front against a nearby training post, keeping her pinned with his weight.

"Count for me, Kuina."

Her heart pounded.

A shiver ran through her spine.

SMACK!

And then The first strike landed, sending a sharp jolt through her body.

A gasp escaped her lips, but it wasn't pain. It was pleasure.

Luffy leaned in, his breath hot against her ear.

"I didn't hear you."

Kuina bit her lip.

"...O-One."

SMACK!

She moaned, this time louder.

"T-Two…"

Luffy's chuckle was dark, satisfied.

"You can do better than that."

SMACK!

Her body arched, pressing back against him.

She loved this. She lived for this. For him.

"Three…" She whispered, her voice breathless, needy.

Luffy knew exactly what she wanted.

Exactly how to push her.

And he delivered.

Again. And again.

Each strike sent waves of sensation through her, each one making her crave more.

By the time they reached ten, Kuina was panting, eyes hazy with euphoria.

Luffy finally let his hand rest on the soft heat of her skin, rubbing soothing circles as he pressed closer, his lips grazing her neck.

"Good girl," He murmured, voice dripping with approval.

A shudder ran through her.

This was why she loved him.

Why she belonged to him. And why she'd never stop playing this game.

Because Luffy always delivered.

And she would always come back for more.
