It was none other than Roronoa Zoro, his face twisted in a storm of determination, eyes burning like an unyielding blaze. His whole body radiated an aura of sheer willpower.
Luffy scratched the back of his head, his expression somewhere between amusement and mild exasperation. "Ah, you are… Zoro. Um, can we please not fight right now and, I don't know, move it to another day?"
"I don't care!" Zoro roared, his voice cracking through the air like a battle cry. His fists clenched so tightly they trembled, his entire being practically vibrating with excitement. "I saw you fight Kuina! You're strong! Stronger than anyone I've ever seen! I have to fight you!"
Kuina sighed, rubbing her temple. "Zoro, you—"
"I won't lose!" Zoro interrupted, practically exploding with sheer defiance, his spirit like a hurricane ready to shatter the heavens. "I'll beat you, Luffy! And prove that I will become the World's Greatest strongest!"
Luffy hesitated. He didn't want to crush the kid's spirit, but Zoro was relentless. He kept stepping forward, his stubbornness showing in every fiber of his being.
"Fine," Luffy finally said, exhaling. "But I'll teach you something first."
The moment Zoro took a step forward, Luffy released a fraction of his Conqueror's Haki.
The dojo fell silent. A sudden weight filled the air, pressing down on everyone. Zoro's eyes widened for a split second before his body crumpled to the ground, unconscious.
A deep silence followed.
Koushirou's sharp eyes locked onto Luffy. The dojo master had felt it—a king's power.
"So young, yet already in possession of such talent," Koushirou mused. "You are quite the extraordinary one, Luffy."
Luffy sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry about that. I didn't want to fight him seriously, so I figured this was better."
Kuina crouched beside Zoro, checking on him. He was fine, just knocked out cold. She shook her head. "That idiot."
Koushirou chuckled. "He will remember this moment for the rest of his life."
Luffy's expression suddenly turned serious. "Speaking of fights, old man… I want to challenge you too."
A murmur ran through the dojo.
Koushirou raised a brow. "Oh?"
"I can tell you're strong. I want to see how I compare," Luffy grinned. "No Haki, just swords. Let's settle it with one strike."
The room tensed.
Koushirou smiled slightly, intrigued by the young pirate's confidence. "Very well. Tomorrow morning, at sunrise."
The night continued with celebration, laughter, and food.
Kuina received her father's blessing to take Wado Ichimonji with her, a sign of her true graduation.
Meanwhile, Zoro—who had finally regained consciousness—cornered Luffy again.
"Teach me!"
Luffy smirked. "What?"
"You're strong," Zoro insisted. "I want to get stronger too. Teach me."
Well, Luffy had expected this up to some point. With a smirk, he handed Zoro a thick stack of manuals. "These are filled with knowledge about swordsmanship, Haki, and other things I've learned."
Zoro's eyes widened. "You're giving me this?"
Luffy nodded. "If you can master Haki, then I'll also take you on my crew."
Zoro's hands clenched around the manuals. His heart pounded. This was his chance.
"I'll do it," Zoro swore. "I'll become the strongest swordsman, no matter what."
Luffy chuckled. "Good. I'll check on you from time to time. Don't disappoint me."
----
Morning arrived, and the entire dojo gathered outside, forming a wide circle around the two swordsmen.
Luffy stood opposite Koushirou, both holding wooden training swords.
The air was electric with tension. Even the wind seemed to hold its breath.
"This is a single-strike duel," Koushirou reminded.
Luffy grinned. "Got it."
Both fighters stilled, gripping their weapons. The moment stretched.
And then, they moved.
A blur of motion. Two swords slashed through the air.
The impact was silent at first. The audience felt a pulse of power ripple through them, their hearts pounding wildly.
Then, Luffy's wooden sword split apart.
Koushirou's blade rested just an inch from his shoulder.
A gasp swept through the crowd.
Luffy exhaled, his eyes widening slightly. Then, a slow grin spread across his face. "I lost."
Koushirou withdrew his blade, smiling. "You are incredible, Luffy. Your instincts, your technique… at your age, I've never seen someone like you."
Luffy nodded in respect. "You're still way stronger than me."
"For now." Koushirou chuckled. "But I have no doubt you'll surpass me soon. Keep training."
Luffy grinned. "I will."
As Luffy prepared to leave with Kuina, Koushirou approached him one last time.
"Luffy."
Luffy turned.
"Take care of my daughter," Koushirou said, his voice soft but firm. "And keep her away from trouble if possible."
Luffy grinned, placing a hand on Kuina's shoulder. "Don't worry, old man. I'll make sure she becomes the strongest."
Kuina nodded, gripping her sword tightly. "I won't let you down, Father."
With that, they departed.
----
From that day forward, Kuina's journey truly began.
At first, Kuina struggled. Though she possessed undeniable talent, her physical limitations had always been her greatest weakness.
Luffy, however, would not allow her to be held back. He personally trained her, strengthening her body and endurance, ensuring she had the foundation necessary to wield her sword without restraint.
Once she reached the appropriate level, he sent her into the Time Training Chamber, allowing her to experience the same accelerated growth as Ann and Uta.
The results were beyond even his expectations.
Kuina emerged from her relentless training not just as a warrior of unparalleled skill but as a woman who had utterly, helplessly surrendered to the magnetic pull of her captain. Her admiration for Luffy deepened into something far more dangerous—an all-consuming, maddening love that burned hotter with each passing day.
She would follow him to the ends of the earth, to the depths of hell itself, if he so commanded. His strength left her breathless, his discipline sent shivers down her spine, and his rare moments of kindness made her heart race in ways she could scarcely admit, even to herself.
And then there were the punishments. Oh, how they had begun as a mere discipline—firm, swift spankings for any failure, each one meant to correct and sharpen her resolve.
At first, she had fought against the humiliation, her warrior's pride refusing to yield. But soon, she found herself lingering after their spars, feigning mistakes, testing his patience, craving his touch, no matter how punishing.
The sharp crack of his hand against her skin became her twisted reward, her guilty pleasure, the thrill she couldn't resist.
Every sting reminded her that she was his, molded by him, trained by him, owned by him. Her submission wasn't just obedience—it was worship.
Like Ann and Uta before her, Kuina had become yet another fierce, insatiable flame in Luffy's ever-growing harem, bound to him by devotion, desire, and something far, far darker.
