Vivienne (Witch of Time) POV
Vivienne sat quietly in her garden, watching the silver leaves of the trees sway in the wind.
The air was calm. The scent of herbs was faint but refreshing.
She lifted her cup of tea and took a slow sip.
Behind her, Kevin stood with his arms crossed and a frown on his face.
His expression was tight, like he had been holding his thoughts for too long.
"The war is about to end soon," he said finally. "The Alliance has decided on the all-out strategy."
Vivienne didn't turn around.
"So they've finally chosen to end it," she said softly.
Kevin nodded, his eyes dark. "Yes, but it doesn't feel right. The Alliance has always been cautious. They never risked too much, even when they were stronger than the Forgotten Suns.
"But now… now they're attacking with everything they have. It's because of that individual. The one they call 'I.'"
Vivienne's hand paused midair as she set down her cup.
"I," she repeated quietly.
