Finn stared at Luca in silence. They had both exited the apartment unit, but Luca seemed hesitant to leave and stopped in front of the wooden door, staring at the object blankly.
"If you're hesitant to leave your house, then you should stay here," Finn said, perhaps worried at the gloomy expression on the younger man's face.
They were both carrying backpacks on their backs. They had packed a few necessities into the backpacks, including some clothes to change into in case the ones they were wearing got dirty during the trip.
For some reason, they were both wearing black, and the color only added to the gloomy atmosphere as Luca continued to stare blankly at the door as if he was reluctant to leave it.
"My parents told me not to leave this place, no matter what. That was their last message to me," Luca replied, and Finn looked troubled after hearing that answer.
