Inside the Car.
Cu Anyi woke up in the car as Su Mei helped her steady herself."Boss... what happened to me?" she spoke as she adjusted her voice, barely opening her eyes as she massaged her neck."You apparently went to sleep," Su Mei spoke sarcastically as she stared at the rear mirror. Fu Lei shamelessly acted as if he didn't hear her sarcasm."I... I remember that I wanted to follow you to the..." Cu Anyi tried to speak. But before she could—"I am alright, Anyi... as long as you are fine, let's just keep that aside," Su Mei spoke as she passed a bottle of water to Anyi."Assistant Fu, if it is not hard for you, can you drop us off at the end of the next circle... we've got some plans," Su Mei spoke as she gave him an innocent smile. Her eyes were mesmerizing him, leaving him no choice but to nod.Cu Anyi adjusted herself as they almost reached the location. Su Mei walked out while Cu Anyi followed."Alright, thanks, Assistant Fu," Su Mei spoke as she adjusted her mask and turned towards the building that was written "DREAM ENTERTAINMENT."
Memories came back to her.
"Mom... lab is exhausting enough for you... you still come to this company and play music while you encourage new artists... when I become an adult... I also want to do the same," little Su Mei spoke as Xi Wan turned to look at her little angel with a smile.
"Alright, my little devil, I formed this company for people to dream and make it reality... DREAM ENTERTAINMENT... here no one should feel that they aren't worthy," Xi Wan spoke as she pulled Su Mei into her arms, and they both played the piano with elegance.

"Mom, I shall take everything back," Su Mei promised to herself and walked ahead.
Su Mei entered the company just to see a huge crowd awaiting there. Su Mei knew that "Unknown Talent Season 10" was going to happen. This was a program that was made by Xi Wan when she wanted people to judge the singer by their talent and not by their face, status, or any other qualification.
But Su Mei was pretty much sure that the programme no longer held the authenticity that it once did, but due to the reputation of her mother, the competition was still valued and respected among the crowd.
Su Mei walked towards the reception to see a man seated at the desk.
"Hello, I'm here to participate in Unknown Talent... may I get the registration form?" Su Mei spoke as she stared at the man.
The man, who was lazily seated, raised his head to stare at the woman in front of him. The moment he looked into those eyes, his spine stood straight. Staring straight into those beautiful eyes, he was nervous all of a sudden!!!
'If her eyes alone are this beautiful, then how breathtaking must her entire face be?' he wondered.
"M... Mi... Miss, how can I hel... help you?" he spoke as he tried his best to divert himself and not look at her eyes.
"I'm here for the competition!" Su Mei spoke as she stared at the crowd.
'Idiot... of course she is here for the competition. That's why she is wearing a mask. If not, is she here for you?' the receptionist cursed himself.
"Yes, yes, Miss, here is the form," he spoke as he nervously handed her the form.
Su Mei took the form
Su Mei took the form and thanked him with a small smile. Even though the mask covered half her face, her smiling eyes were full of life, making it impossible for the guy to control his quick heartbeat.
Meanwhile.
"Boss, Miss... she went to DREAM ENTERTAINMENT," Fu Lei spoke with utmost good behavior. If he remembered correctly, this was supposed to be a prestigious music company, but thanks to Xu Madam, although the company still had its glory, it no longer held the reputation it once did.
"I get it," Mo Hui simply cut the call and closed his eyes.
Memories flooded.
"Senior... can I sing you a song?" Little Su Mei spoke as she stared into his soul.
"Senior... Senior." Su Mei nudged as Su Cheng sighed, seeing the unwavering Buddha who was reading his book and letting Su Mei do whatever she wanted to him.
"...I am singing the song... I will just pester you until you listen to me." Little monkey, Su Mei, raised her voice as she pouted her mouth until it became a cute balloon.
The rest of the people around started to stare at Su Mei as if they were worried for her death. Mo Hui [Adam] was known for his cold behavior and being extremely dangerous, but what happened next made everyone open their mouths in awe.
Mo Hui just closed his book and raised his eyes as he leaned a bit, with his hands supporting his head, to stare at the little monkey, who looked too cute. Seeing that Mo Hui had conceded defeat, she happily started to sing, making everyone around her fall in love with her voice...!

Present.
Mo Hui pulled his drawer to pick the iPod that was lying inside. This was the iPod on which he had secretly recorded her singing. He connected the earphones as he immersed himself in her sweet voice.
The song called "Tomorrow" started to play.
Meanwhile
Su Mei entered the room where three judges were seated across as they looked serious and demanding. She recognized all three. One was Zu Anxi — the famous singer who had just swept all the awards in last year's music awards. Beside him was Du Mei — the old songwriter and composer who was known as a legend in the field of music. Beside him sat a woman who looked rather familiar to her. Su Mei tried hard and then realized she was none other than her mom's best friend, Aunt Ning, a.k.a. Yu Ning — the Master Grand Awardee and the only woman who was hell-bent on offending Su Mei's Aunt Qu Rui while trying to keep her friend's dream alive. Su Mei suddenly felt emotional, but she knew she couldn't give herself away at the moment.
"Hello, No. 3, what are you going to sing?" the host beside her spoke as Su Mei composed herself.
"I will be playing a piece called Tomorrow by Ms. Yu Ning," Su Mei spoke as Yu Ning raised her eyes to stare at the young lady who was masked, standing on the dais.
"Damn, the song stole many hearts... sung by Master Yu and written by the legendary artist Master Xi Wan. Are you sure you wanna risk the high-pitched song?" the host questioned as he wondered why the girl was aiming so high when it was just the audition, worried she wouldn't make it.
"Thanks for the worry, but yes, I am singing Tomorrow," Su Mei politely acknowledged the host's warning as she made her point.
"Then let's see if you can impress me," Yu Ning spoke out of nowhere, making everyone stare at her in silence as they prayed for the girl, as they knew she could not ace but also hope that she wouldn't make it bad enough to be eliminated.
