"There are still some details that need to be added."
Lyon placed his hand on the doorknob. "But if you'd like to enter and take a look now, you can come in with me."
Tony stepped forward. "Just touring the place? Not enough. We can help you renovate the small world and even draw up some blueprints."
He spread his hands. "The greatest idea man in the world is right here. I'm the founder of Stark Electronics—everyone on the planet uses tech based on my inventions."
"And most of those ideas came from me, thank you very much," Lyon said, helpless in the face of this flamboyant guy.
"I can offer some ideas too!" Banner raised his hand, then added weakly, "Because magical creatures require special environments to grow..."
As for Wong and Mordo—there was no need to say anything.
The two of them had already, quite naturally, taken positions at Lyon's sides like rotund temple guardians.
"Looks like you're all raring to go."
Lyon turned the doorknob. "Ready? Let's go be the first guests in this newborn small world."
Everyone behind him held their breath, no one responding to his question.
Lyon pulled the door open once more, and blinding light surged out like a tidal wave, washing over everyone.
Behind the door was no longer a wall of solid enchanted metal—
It was a vast world.
Golden paths stretched out from behind the door, distant peaks rose in undulating lines, and an endless sky loomed overhead.
Tony was the first to walk in. "This really is a real world. The gravity is similar to Earth's... but it looks so barren, not even vegetation. It's like a plucked chicken."
"A plucked chicken?" Lyon followed after. "Can't you at least admire its vastness?"
"It is vast! Unbelievable. A small world tethered to the solar system, yet separate from reality—it's like we've leapt into another dimension." Dr. Banner came in behind them.
He marveled at everything around him, stepping on the golden-yellow ground and then gazing up at the sky.
"There's an atmosphere above us too. Are we on a planet?"
"No, it's actually a continent about 500 kilometers across, formed from condensed cosmic dust," Lyon explained.
"Then is this light from the sun? I don't see a sun in the sky," Betty asked, holding Banner's hand.
"Right now the light is generated through laws of magic, but in the future, this small world can be linked to reality."
Lyon answered each question in turn.
"By then, as a sub-dimension dependent on Earth, when it's daytime at Kamar-Taj, this place will receive sunlight in sync—and at night, you'll see moonlight as well."
"That sounds like something out of a fairy tale. Like... Alice in Wonderland!" Betty's inner child was practically skipping with joy.
"What Alice? Clearly this is like the Peach Blossom Spring—a hidden utopia!" Wong offered a different opinion.
"It's all the same." Lyon waited for Mordo to enter the small world, then closed the wooden door behind them.
The wooden door stood alone in the open plain, with nothing around it, making it look oddly out of place.
"Maybe we should build a structure here eventually. Just a single door floating here looks really weird."
Mordo said, "Also, the door needs to be expanded. It only allows one person through at a time—too narrow."
"There's no need for that. It's not like you have to enter from here," Lyon shook his head.
"You can, just like in the depths of the library, construct several fixed portals inside the small world that lead to the outside."
He waved his hand.
In the distance, dirt and sand flew up into the air.
A large mass of mud and stone quickly converged into a small mound, enveloping the wooden door behind them.
It now looked like the base of a small eight-meter-high hill, with a single door embedded in it.
"This is much better now."
"Let's start reshaping the world." Lyon then began manipulating the power of the world to further refine the small world.
"You can just observe, or feel free to give suggestions."
Lyon used world power to widen rivers, reshape underground water sources, and accelerate the internal environmental development of the world.
He caused the entire realm to fast-forward through its long natural evolution cycle.
In just a few minutes, a complete ecosystem developed across the continent of the small world.
Within these ecosystems, microorganisms, plants, and animals were born.
In the eyes of Tony and the others, the barren landscape of rolling yellow sands and desolate rock quickly transformed into flourishing oases.
Everything visible on the land began to change.
Forests rose at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Barren hills turned lush green in the blink of an eye.
For a moment, Tony even thought he could hear the sound of waves lapping against a shore—perhaps a massive lake or even an ocean had formed in the distance.
Before long, Lyon stopped his actions. "All done!"
"This small world can now sustain the normal reproduction of life." He patted imaginary dust off his hands.
On the other side, Tony and the others were still frozen in awe.
They looked at each other, speechless.
Tony exclaimed, "Lyon, if you told me right now you were about to become God, I'd probably believe it."
"God? I'm still far from that," Lyon sighed.
"At most, I can barely create a small world, throw in some low-level life to muddle through their days."
"..."
Barely create a world? Muddle through?
The others stared at Lyon, each with countless complaints stuck in their throats, their facial muscles twitching uncontrollably.
"…Let's talk about the next steps," Mordo said a few seconds later.
They were long used to being humbled in all sorts of ways by Lyon.
Especially a few months ago, when Lyon had just started learning magic.
Back then, Lyon's training speed—showing them several new spells every day—once made Mordo doubt if he himself was just a mediocre talent on the path of magic.
But now, Mordo had already gotten used to it.
No matter how shocked he was inside, he could look at Lyon with a calm face and simply ask, "And then?"
"The next step is building the magic academy and creating free-range zones for the magical creatures."
Lyon conjured a realistic floating map in the air using magic.
"This is the current terrain map of the small world. At the center is a continent about five hundred kilometers wide and long. All the dark areas beyond that are cosmic void."
"Do any of you have suggestions for how to reshape it?" He chose a democratic method for world design.
Tony thought for a moment, rubbing his chin. "Since magical creatures will be living here, it's best to have ample, widespread water sources."
Banner added, "And some magical creatures have very specific environmental needs. We should divide the land into distinct ecological zones."
"As for the location of the magic academy, I think it needs to be mysterious enough—something that makes someone gape in awe at first sight and never close their mouth again!" Wong said.
"But I think something simpler would be nice," Mordo said. "Something like Kamar-Taj."
"No problem. Everything can be accommodated!" Lyon snapped his fingers.
With a single thought, the entire world began to rumble.
Then, in the eyes of everyone, towering peaks collapsed, massive lands tore open, and rivers flowed backward.
The original high mountains were flattened and pushed back.
Endless plains split open, and magma buried deep beneath the crust surged upward.
Farther away, as if a turbulent ocean had been hidden under the crust, a flood erupted and crashed against the shores, raising towering waves.
It looked like the end of the world—yet also like the beginning of one. The scene left everyone stunned once again.
Mordo's expression remained stoic, but his eyes were so wide they looked like they had bowling balls stuffed in them.
It wasn't until more than half an hour had passed that Lyon finally stopped moving.
