Chapter 67 - CHAPTER 66: Sigrid Estate.

"Are you ready, Princess? Eri?" Sis Kae asked. I can't help but feel sooo excited! Today, Sis Kae decided to tour us around the estate, and she said she wants to introduce us to everyone in their family.

It's just so cute that she called everyone here her family.

"Yeees!" both Eri and I answered. Brother Dae is not here because he needs to visit his squad members. Lia's with us though.

"First, let's visit the Ferrosyn Household! They are the family of our swordsmith, Gideon Ferrosyn," Oohh, they even have their personal swordsmith? That's so cool! Our family have many swordsmiths as well!

"I'm pretty sure they'll be happy to see you, Princess,"

I smiled and giggled.

I can't wait. I'm so excited, my heart is beating sooo fast! I can't wait to become friends with everyone in this estate.

Since Sis Kae is really pumped by this tour, I'm pretty sure everyone here are nice and kind, just like Uncle Clovis and Sis Kae!

Hehe, I wonder how they will react to Eri too?

"Here we are ~ their house is also the closest to my mansion, that's why we're visiting them first," Sis Kae said with a smile on her face. Look at that cheerful expression, she looks really happy.

"Sister Kaleaaa!"

"Sis Leaaa!"

I turned my head to the two kids who are running towards us. They are smiling widely as they approach us, and when they did—they threw themselves to Sis Kae.

"Luna, Luka! Where's your mother?" They are twins? How cute!

"Ahh, Young Lady! Welcome to our home, you should've told us firsthand that you will come. We could've prepared snacks for you..." the pretty lady with brown hair and emerald eyes turned to me and she blinked for a couple of time. When she realized who I am, she let go of her basket and immediately kneel down in front of me and bowed her head to the ground!

Ahh, good thing Sis Kae made her basket flowt before it fell to the ground.

"G-g-greetings, Your Highness the First Princess! I-I-I am honored to have meet you personally!" Oh my gosh...

"Greetings...please stand up," I spoke and scratched the back of my head, but instead of standing up...

"The princess?"

"The Princess?!"

Her daughter and son bowed to me as well...

"Ahahaha...nice to meet you. Please stand up, no need to be so polite, please. I am here for a vacation, I hope we can get along well. Please rise to your feet," I spoke, the three of them slowly raise their head and gazed at me, so I just smiled at them.

What should I do to make them treat me as just 'Alina'? A vacationist? Haha...

"It's alright! Master said you can stand, so it's fine! Just treat Master like an ordinary person!" I giggled because of Eri's words. She knows exactly what I'm thinking.

"A-a fairy...?" the girl named Luna spoke. She's a bit shorter than me, but her brother is a bit taller than both of us.

"That's right, this is a friend of mine and she's a fairy. We can all play together!" I suggested, and the two kids' face lightened up. They're still kneeling on the ground though...

"R-really?" Luka asked, his eyes widened. He turned to Sis Kae, and it seems like he's asking for a permission.

"Haha! Don't look at me like that, Luka. The Princess has a much higher position than I am. So whatever the princess says, she means it," Sis Kae answered, giving him a soft smile.

"Then...we can play with the princess?" Luna asked. I chuckled.

"I've been wanting to meet new friends, too! Can you introduce me to your other friends?" I asked, the two of them gasped.

"Yes, yes Princess!" they both answered. I can see from my peripheral vision how their mother smiled in joy.

"Alright, then please rise to your feet and let's go,"

The two of them exchanged looks, and I can't help but feel satisfied by their bright smiles right now. They look so cute...

"Yeees!"

I throw myself on the couch as I lean my head on its backrest. Today was so exhausting, but I'm extremely happy and satisfied. I met a lot of new friends, and even though I am already a 20-year old sister, playing with those kids really sent me back to my childhood.

I mean—I am currently a child, but my soul is old.

I reached for the cupcake in front of us the same time Lia and Eri did.

"So deliii ~" the three of us said as we munch on the cupcake that was baked by Sigrid's baker. It's a vanilla cupcake with condensed milk inside, with a cream frosts, and tiny little milk chocolate on it! Haaah ~

I feel so exhausted because of the estate tour but this makes me feel sooo relaxing!

"Hehe, I'm glad you liked it. I'll be sure to tell Isolde," Isolde must be their baker's name!

This is our first day in the Northern Dukedom and everyone has been showing us a really great treatment! And I love how the servants here greatly care for their young lady. I'm happy to know that despite the fact that she's adopted, everyone in this household accepts her.

No one knows of her origin, but she's still accepted. I'm pretty sure only the Duke and his close aids knows about her background.

"Eri looks so cute—pfft," all of us laughed when we saw my little mana guardian's face filled with cream!

"Hehe, so yummy ~" she's adapting all the words I've been saying.

"Come here, Eri," Brother Dae said and spread his left hand, he also pulled out a napkin. Eri flew towards him and immediately sit on his palm. My brother wiped her face gently while we continued eating and talking to each other.

I didn't have time to continue with the book yet because we hang out with each other yesterday in the garden, and due to exhaustion I fell asleep on Brother Dae's arms as we go back to our room. And earlier, Sis Kae toured us around their estate and it was fun! We met a lot of different people and they are all kind and nice. It turned out all the families of their servants lives in their estate, but of course they had to pay rent, water, and for electricity. Though Uncle Clovis lowered their monthly expenses. He really is kind.

"Unfortunately, everyone is making a big deal of Your Highnesses' vacation here. We still can't visit the plaza," Sis Kae spoke, she looks sad.

The truth is I really want to see the plaza and taste some of their local food. But, well...since it rained posters yesterday about our vacation here, many nobles wants to visit the Sigrid's Mansion to see us. Many letters also arrived yesterday, and earlier. Brother Dae burned them all without reading them. That's because the first letter I read, they said 'We want to see how the Princess have grown', so my brother set it on fire while saying 'Fuck off old geezers'—referring to those noble heads who wanted to visit us.

"It's alright. We can go anytime, you know? I'll cut anyone who tries to approach any of you," Brother...

He's always so brutal and violent.

"Ahh...Princess, may I inquire...about your class schedule?" I turned to Sis Kae and she was avoiding my gaze as she ask that question. Why does she want to know? And why is she blushing?

"Hmm, I'll have a schedule tomorrow for Heazurian Language lesson...in the afternoon," I replied. I actually have a class schedule today as well, but Dad probably told Aunt Chan to let me rest or enjoy my first day here. I have no idea either if she'll come tomorrow since we're not receiving any letters from her.

Or maybe it was one of the letters that Brother Dae burned?

"Why have you asked, Sis Kae?" I tilt my head, and I felt Eri sitting on my shoulder and leaned her head on mine while humming.

"W-well...Dad told me to ask you," Ohh...

Of course, he will.

"Sis Kae. Do you want my Auntie to be your step mother?" Ah, wait. Maybe I shouldn't have asked that? If Uncle Clovis and Aunt Chan become together, Sis Kae will be a family—and my brother won't be able to marry her!

Nooo!

"Ahh, huh? N-no! How could I ever..." she clasped her hands together with her head turned away from me. She's red.

"Yup! You shouldn't!" I spoke. Her eyes widened and she slowly turned her head to me. Hmm, she looks sad.

"Ali? Why do you think so? Don't you want Lea to be our family?" Brother Dae asked, and he seemed worried. But I only smiled at him.

"She'll be a family if you two gets married!"

"Eh?" I smiled widely at them, and when I looked at Sis Kae, she was blushing hard while covering her mouth!

She's so cuuute!

"Ali..." even my brother is blushing, hahaha!

'Aww, youth,' Lia watched the two of them with her arms crossed, smiling gently.

"That's why I won't allow Uncle Clovis to marry my Auntie!"

"Ahh..."

All of us turned our heads to the door, because someone entered the room while I was saying those words and he happened to hear it.

Guess who?

"Princess...do you truly hate me that much?" Uncle Clovis started walking towards us while rubbing his chest.

Him and Dad are really friends.

"Oh, it's not like that, Uncle Clovis! It's just—if you marry my Auntie, Sis Kae and Brother Dae won't be able to marry anymore. So, like...maybe you can give them the chance instead?" I crossed my arms and leaned back to the couch where I and Brother Dae are sitting.

"Hmm, that's right...but, don't have I the right to be happy?" look at him acting as if he was bullied by the world. But wait, he didn't say anything about Brother Dae and Sis Kae marrying each other! Haha! He probably don't hate the idea, huh?

"You're already old, Uncle. Give it to the children instead," I teased.

"You fill my heart with ache, dear Princess," I giggled by his response and proudly smiled.

Hmm, I guess my brother and Sis Kae can still marry since they are not blood related? Is that actually possible? After all, Sis Kae is only an adopted child of Uncle Clovis.

But well...I don't think Aunt Chan wants to marry this guy at all.

"Dad, is there anything you need?" Sis Kae asked, she stood up and walked towards her father. Uncle Clovis placed his hand on top of Sis Kae's head and smiled.

"Nothing, my dear. I just wanted to check on the children and it looks like you are getting along well together," he answered, he then ruffled her head.

"Hehe, I toured Princess Ali earlier around the estate and we played with the kids!" Sis Kae reported, Uncle Clovis' smile never faded, he looks softly as his daughter and nodded his head.

"That's good to know. I hope the Princess enjoyed her day," Uncle said, turning his head to me.

"That, I did, Uncle! I might even visit them again in a few days," I giggled.

"I'm glad to hear that, Your Highness. I hope you enjoy your vacation in my territory,"

Uncle Clovis really is a nice person. My Aunt is going to be so lucky if the two of them becomes together.

This day was surely fun.

For a moment, I've forgotten everything that's been bothering us these past few days.
