Chapter 258 - 2.4

The roar came again, closer this time, rustling the underbrush to our left. I pivoted toward the sound, my eyes scanning the thicket of vines and shadows. William tensed behind me, his hand hovering as if debating whether to grab a weapon, perhaps a branch or stone, but he obeyed, staying put.

"Your Majesty... is it..?" he whispered, his voice laced with terror.

"A tiger," I replied curtly, not taking my eyes from the foliage.

In my mind, a flicker of hope stirred. It could be one of the two cubs I had once nurtured: Muthu, the male, or Kuyili, the female. 4 Years ago after reclaiming my kingdom, I had stumbled upon them in this very forest, orphaned and starving after their mother failed a hunt and succumbed to her wounds. Moved by their plight, I had fed them scraps from my own meager provisions, coaxing them back to strength with milk from a nearby village and fresh kills I made myself. They had grown under my watchful eye, symbols of resilience in my darkest days, named for the loved ones who had shaped my fate. But tigers were unpredictable; time and the wild could have hardened them. I dared not assume familiarity, I had to be ready to strike.

The bushes parted with a low growl, and out stepped a massive male tiger, its striped coat rippling over powerful muscles, eyes glowing amber in the shade. It was enormous, easily outweighing two large men, its paws silent on the earth as it fixed us with a predatory stare. My heart pounded, but I held my ground, dagger poised, studying its form. The beast growled again, teeth bared in a snarl that vibrated through the air.

Then, I saw it, the distinctive markings on its forehead, a pattern like a jagged crown, unique as a fingerprint. Relief flooded me, washing away the tension.

"Muthu," I said softly, lowering my dagger. It was him, my once-tiny cub, now a tiger on the eve of his prime.

William gasped, inching back. "Your Majesty!"

"Do not fear," I said calmly, tossing the dagger aside into the grass.

It landed with a soft thud, harmless now. Muthu tilted his head, his growl softening to a deep chuff as recognition dawned in those golden eyes. I approached slowly, my naked form unashamed, extending a hand. He sniffed the air, then padded forward, his massive head bumping gently against my palm.

William watched in stunned silence as I knelt and wrapped my arms around the tiger's thick neck, burying my face in his coarse fur. Muthu rumbled contentedly, a purr-like vibration that resonated through my body, his rough tongue rasping once against my shoulder in affectionate greeting. The scent of wild musk and earth enveloped me, a comforting reminder of simpler times.

"Incredible," William murmured, his voice filled with awe as he dared to step closer, though keeping a respectful distance.

"You are not only the queen of men, Your Majesty, but your authority extends even over the beasts of the wild. How... how is this possible?"

I laughed softly, scratching behind Muthu's ears as he leaned into my touch, his tail swishing lazily.

"Not authority, William, friendship. Four years ago, I found this one and his sister as starving cubs, their mother dead from a failed hunt with a wound that most likely came from a wild ox( Gaur)."

" I named him Muthu, after my late husband, and her Kuyili, after my dearest companion who sacrificed everything for my victory."

"I fed them, taught them to hunt when they were strong enough, and released them back to the forest."

"They remember kindness, as all creatures do when it comes from the heart."

Muthu lowered his great striped body to the grass with the slow dignity of a king taking his throne. His amber eyes half-closed in contentment, tail curling around his paws like a living rope. The clearing belonged to us again; the forest itself seemed to exhale and wait.

I turned to William, sunlight pouring over my naked skin, and saw the reverence in his face.

"You look like Goddess Durga herself," he whispered, voice rough with wonder.

"Eight-armed destroyer and mother."

"Both fierce, and benevolent."

Heat rose to my cheeks, a blush I had not felt since girlhood. "And you, William Windsor, with the golden splendor of the sun in your hair and the infinite sky in your eyes, stand before me like Lord Shiva, magnificent, with the blessings of the Himalayas crowning your countenance."

His breath caught. I saw the tremor in his thighs, the way his lingam was still glistening from my mouth and yoni, leapt at my words.

I dropped to my hands and knees upon the soft grass, the lotus petals cool beneath my palms. My heavy breasts swayed beneath me, gold rings catching fire in the light. I looked back over my shoulder, hair spilling like black monsoon clouds down my bare back.

"Come," I said, voice low and throaty. "Mount me as the wild beasts do. Take your queen from behind, William. Let the forest witness."

He hesitated, eyes flicking to the tiger.

"Your Majesty the tiger is only paces away. The beast could kill either of us with a single blow."

I laughed, the sound rich and fearless, rolling through the clearing like temple bells.

"Muthu will know the scent of his mother's pleasure. He will guard us, not harm us. Trust me."

William swallowed, then stepped forward. The grass bent beneath his knees as he knelt behind me. His large hands settled on my hips, warm, trembling slightly, fingers sinking into the soft flesh above my bones. I felt the blunt, velvet head of his lingam nudge between my thighs, sliding through the slickness he had already drawn from me.

He pushed.

A single, slow thrust and he breached me again, deeper now in this position, the angle letting him sink to the very mouth of my womb. My back arched; a raw moan tore from my throat.

"William, ahh, gods, yes!"

His hips snapped forward, seating himself fully. The stretch was exquisite, almost too much, his thickness spreading me wide, claiming every secret fold. My pierced breasts rocked beneath me with the force of it, gold rings chiming softly like tiny temple ghantas.

He began to move: strong, deliberate strokes at first, then faster, harder, the slap of his pelvis against my buttocks echoing through the trees. Each thrust drove the air from my lungs in broken cries.

"My queen..." he groaned my name like a prayer, fingers bruising my hips.

I pushed back to meet him, grinding, circling, taking him impossibly deeper. My yoni fluttered around his invading length, milking him, drawing him toward surrender.

Muthu watched.

The great tiger lifted his head once, ears pricked forward, nostrils flaring as he scented our joining. For a heartbeat the clearing held only the wet sounds of flesh meeting flesh, my rising moans, William's ragged breathing. Then Muthu gave a low, rumbling chuff, an approval, acceptance of my mate, and rose. With one last lingering look at us, he melted into the green shadows, leaving the stag untouched, a silent tribute to the queen he still called mother.

William's rhythm faltered in astonishment. "He... he simply left. Did not even glance at the kill..."

I laughed breathlessly, clenching around him until he shuddered.

"Even the lords of the jungle bow before desire when it is sanctioned by Shakti. Now stop talking, William, and ravage your queen."

William's hands tightened on my hips, fingers digging into the soft flesh like a man possessed. He drew back until only the thick head of his lingam remained inside me, then slammed forward with all the strength in his carpenter's frame. My body jolted; a sharp cry tore from my throat.

"OH SHAKTI!!!"

Again he thrust, harder, deeper, the slap of his pelvis against my buttocks ringing through the clearing like war-drums. My heavy breasts swung wildly beneath me, gold rings flashing, pierced nipples aching from the momentum. Each impact sent ripples through my flesh, my yoni clenching greedily around his massive length, drawing him impossibly deeper.

"WILLIAM! YES!..YES!!.....YES!!..THRUST HARDER!"

He obeyed, hips pistoning with savage rhythm, sweat dripping from his golden hair onto my back. The forest blurred; there was only the wet sound of our joining, the slap of skin, my broken cries rising to the canopy of the forest.

"My queen..." he groaned, voice ragged.

I screamed his name again, arching, pushing back to meet every powerful thrust. Pleasure coiled white-hot at the base of my spine, ready to shatter me.

"OH SHAKTI... OH SHAKTI... YOU ARE STUPEDOUS WILLIAM!"

Then there were voices from the trees. Young, male, Tamil, drawing nearer through the trees.

"Someone is rutting like animals," one laughed.

Another, closer: "Listen, she is calling 'William'. That is an English name."

A third, venomous: "A white dog is mounting one of our women. We will drag them both naked through the streets and beat them until the crows feast on their eyes!"

Panic lanced through me, colder than any blade. My blood froze even as my body still burned around William's buried lingam.

Before I could pull away, a roar, deafening, and bone-shaking, ripped through the clearing. Louder, deeper than Muthu's earlier warning. The ground seemed to tremble.

The young men screamed in pure terror.

"TIGER!!!!"

"IT IS RUNNING TOWARDS US!!!"

"RUN!!!"

Brush crashed, footsteps fled, voices vanishing into the green distance like smoke.

I silently thanked Muthu and Shakti for aiding in our concealment.

The danger was gone, but the moment was broken. I could not risk another band of hunters stumbling upon their queen naked and impaled upon a magnificent British spear. My heart pounded with lingering fear and unspent lust.

"William," I gasped, "finish.... now. Pull out and spend on my breasts. Quickly."

He groaned in frustration and need, but obeyed instantly. One last deep thrust, two--then he slipped free with a wet sound. I spun on my knees to face him, cupping my heavy breasts together, offering them like sacred vessels. His hand flew to his glistening lingam, stroking his great lingam furiously briefly before he groaned.

He erupted.

Thick ropes of pearly seed lashed across my dark skin, splattering over gold-pierced nipples, running in rivulets down the curves of my breasts. Again and again he spent, until my chest was painted white, the offering dripping like fresh milk poured over a murti (statue/figure of a deity) during abhiṣhekam.

I looked down, awed by the sheer volume.

"Such bounty," I murmured, my voice husky.

"The gods themselves would be jealous of this generous offering."

Before he could speak, I lifted one breast to my mouth and slowly, deliberately licked a thick stripe of his seed from my own nipple. The salt-bitter taste of him exploded across my tongue. I did the same to the other breast, eyes locked on his the entire time, until my skin gleamed only with saliva and the last traces of his spend.

William stared, utterly spellbound. Lips parted, chest heaving, his blue eyes glazed with reverence and unsatiated hunger.

I rose unashamed, and began gathering my discarded saree. The green silk slid over my skin like cool water, hiding the evidence of our sin beneath royal folds. William dressed swiftly, silent, still dazed.

The stag lay where he had placed it. I moved to lift the forelegs

"Your Majesty, no," "let me." William protested.

"We will both carry it," I decided. "The blood and musk of the kill will mask our scent. No one will discover the scent of passion upon us."

He understood at once. Together we heaved the great carcass onto our shoulders--my smaller frame beside his tall one, blood soaking into my saree and his ruined coat alike. The weight was immense, but sharing it felt almost ceremonial, like bearing a sacred idol in procession. My heart beat with joy as I shared the burden with my magnificent white paramour.

We stepped from the hidden circle onto the path, and began walking toward the entrance. Periya Marudhu waited exactly where we had left him, arms crossed, eyes narrowing as he took in the sight, his queen bent beneath half the stag's weight beside a blood-drenched Britisher.

He roared before we reached him. "Fool of an Englishman! You dare let Her Majesty bear such a burden?"

William opened his mouth, but I cut across him.

"Silence, Periya. I chose to share the load. The forest offered a heavy gift today, and I will not have my guest shamed for honoring my command."

Periya Marudhu's scowl softened at my tone. He grunted, took the stag from our shoulders as though it weighed nothing, and slung it across the back of his own stallion. Periya Maudhu mounted the mare for William and I mounted my steed.

I gave my hand to William, and he hesitantly took it and mounted my horse as well.

Periya Marudhu's eyes were filled with shock.

"Your majesty, the people...."

"William will dismount a short distance before we arrive at the city."

"You don't mind a little walk to the Palace."

"Certainly not, your majesty."

"Periya Marudhu will guard you through the city."

As we rode back toward Sivaganga, the sun dipped lower in the sky, casting long shadows across the fields and turning the world to shades of amber and gold. William sat behind me on my steed, his arms loosely encircling my waist for balance, though I could feel the heat of his body pressing against my back through the bloodstained saree. His breath was warm on my neck, a subtle reminder of our sacred union in the forest, and I fought the urge to lean into him, to let my hips shift just enough to tease the hardness I knew still lingered beneath his breeches. But propriety demanded restraint; we were no longer hidden in the goddess's embrace. Periya Marudhu rode ahead on his stallion, the stag's carcass draped across the beast's flanks like a trophy of war, its antlers swaying with each powerful stride.

A short distance from the city's gates, where the road curved through a grove of mango trees, I reined in my horse.

"Here, William," I said softly, turning my head to meet his gaze.

"Dismount now. The people must not see us."

He nodded, his blue eyes lingering on mine with a depth of unspoken longing.

"As you wish, Your Majesty."

He slid down gracefully, his hand brushing my thigh in a fleeting caress that sent a spark through my yoni. Periya Marudhu dismounted as well, handing the reins of William's borrowed mare back to him, though his stern gaze flicked between us, suspicion etched in his furrowed brow. He said nothing, but I knew my guardian's loyalty would keep his questions at bay, for now.

We entered the city separately: Periya Marudhu and William walking side by side, the massive warrior rivaling the Britisher like a protective shadow. I rode ahead on my steed, the skull of my husband's slayer still adorning its neck as a grim talisman. The streets buzzed with life as before, but now the crowds parted with even greater reverence, whispers rippling through them at the sight of the stag and the bloodied figures returning from the hunt. Merchants paused their haggling, children pointed in awe, and women murmured prayers to the goddess for my safe return. I held my head high, the weight of queenship settling back upon me like a familiar crown, even as my body ached with the memory of William's touch.

Upon reaching the palace, the gates swung open with a creak of iron, and my guards saluted crisply. Vikram rushed forward to take my horse, his eyes widening at the sight of the massive stag.

"Your Majesty! A triumphant hunt, indeed. Shall we prepare the beast for the kitchens?"

I dismounted with fluid grace, my saree clinging to my curves, the dried blood adding a warrior's patina to its emerald folds.

"Yes, Vikram."

Have the cooks ready a feast this evening. Venison for all in the court, spiced with our finest masalas, to honor the forest's gift and our guest."

I glanced at William, who stood nearby, his uniform ruined but his posture unbowed. A feast would buy us a few more stolen moments, a chance to savor the afterglow before duty tore us apart.

Vikram bowed. "It shall be done, my queen."

As evening fell, the palace's great hall transformed into a tapestry of opulence and warmth. Torches flickered in golden brackets along the walls, casting dancing shadows over intricate carvings of gods and goddesses, Shiva in his tandava dance, Parvati in eternal union with her lord. Long tables groaned under platters of food: the stag's venison roasted to perfection, its meat tender and infused with cumin, coriander, and fiery chilies; bowls of fragrant biryani studded with cashews and raisins; steaming idlis and dosas served with coconut chutney; and sweets like laddus and jalebis dripping with honeyed syrup. Musicians played softly in the corner, the veena's strings weaving melodies of ancient Tamil love songs, while incense wafted through the air, mingling sandalwood with the earthy scent of the feast.

I sat at the head of the table on my throne-like chair, adorned in a fresh crimson saree that hugged my form like a lover's embrace, the gold piercings glinting beneath the thin silk blouse. William was seated to my right, an honored position that drew murmurs from the court, his uniform hastily cleaned but still bearing faint stains of our adventure. Periya Marudhu loomed nearby, ever vigilant, while Vikram and the other advisors filled the seats around us. Vellacci sat to my left, her young face a storm cloud of resentment, her eyes fixed on her plate as if the food offended her.

The feast began with toasts to goddess Korravi, to Sivaganga's enduring strength, to the bountiful hunt. I raised my goblet of spiced buttermilk, my gaze lingering on William as I spoke.

"To the forest, which gives and takes as it wills, and to those who venture into its depths with courage."

He met my eyes, a subtle smile playing on his lips, and I felt a flush creep up my neck, memories of his lingam buried deep within me flashing unbidden.

As we ate, the venison melted on my tongue, its rich flavor an echo of the wild passion we had shared. William praised the dish effusively, his voice that soothing baritone that still made my yoni quiver.

"This meat is unparalleled, Your Majesty. The spices... they awaken the senses in ways I've never known."

His words carried a double meaning for my ears alone, and I hid my smile behind a sip of drink.

But Vellacci's mood soured the air like vinegar in milk. She picked at her food, her fork clattering against the plate more than necessary, her dark eyes shooting daggers at William with every glance. She bristled at his proximity to me, at the laughter that escaped my lips, rare and genuine, in response to his tales of England.

"Why honor this white demon with our food, Amma?"

She muttered under her breath, loud enough for me to hear but not the full court.

"He and his kind are vipers in our garden."

I shot her a warning look, but her disapproval hung heavy, a silent accusation that twisted my gut with guilt. She was right to hate; the British had stolen her father, ravaged our land. Yet here I was, feasting with one, my body still singing from his touch.

As the meal drew to a close, William set down his goblet and cleared his throat, his expression turning solemn.

"Your Majesty, members of the court," he began "I am deeply grateful for this hospitality, for the hunt, and for the feast born of our shared labors."

" But duty calls me back to my post. I must depart at first light to deliver your response to Colonel Dickinson."

A hush fell over the hall. I felt a pang in my chest, sharp as a dagger's edge, the knowledge that this might be our only encounter, a fleeting union in a world of empires and enmity. But I composed myself, rising to my feet with regal poise.

"William Windsor, you have been a worthy companion this day. May the roads be kind to you, and may the goddess watch over your journey."

I extended my hand, and he took it, his fingers lingering in a final, hidden squeeze that sent warmth flooding through me. He bowed low, his golden hair catching the torchlight, then turned and left the hall, escorted by a guard.

The doors closed behind him with a resonant thud, and the court turned to me, their faces a mix of curiosity and concern. Vikram spoke first, leaning forward.

"Your Majesty, what was the message from the colonel? We have waited patiently, but the presence of that Britisher... it unnerves us all."

I sat back down, my voice steady and commanding, the weight of queenship fully upon me once more.

"Colonel James Dickinson proposes an alliance--a treaty of friendship and mutual defense. In exchange for our warriors and knowledge of the southern passes, he offers arms, gold, and the assurance that Sivaganga remains sovereign."

"The goal: to crush Tipu Sultan of Mysore before he turns his gaze southward."

Gasps rippled through the room. Periya Marudhu's fist clenched on the table, his eyes blazing.

"The audacity! They seek to use us as pawns in their games."

Vellacci's face lit with fierce approval, her earlier anger shifting to pride in me. "And your response, Amma?"

I met their gazes one by one, my chin lifted high.

"I refused. I told the messenger to inform his colonel that I would sooner raise my sword against the East India Company than against Tipu."

" We will not be divided; we will not be conquered through flattery and false promises. Sivaganga stands alone, strong and unyielding."

The court erupted in cheers, goblets raised in fervent toasts.

"Long live Queen Velu Nachiyar!" they cried, the hall echoing with loyalty and resolve.

Yet as the night wore on, and I retired to my chambers, the taste of venison lingered on my lips, mingled with the phantom salt of William's skin. In the quiet, guilt warred with satisfaction, as if Muthu's apparition watched from the shadows, but my body, sated for the first time in years, whispered that the goddess had blessed this indulgence. The hermit's words echoed faintly: perhaps this was but the beginning. I knew in my heart this would not be the last of my William, our destiny is now woven together.
