Salari responded with a cheerful smile to the challenge, then turned to Talot and said, "Brother Talot, now that Raditz has also successfully broken through, are we still going with the original plan?"
"Looks like you can't wait anymore. Well, makes sense, after all, we've all been waiting for Raditz to break through," Talot said with a smile.
Raditz looked a little embarrassed, because it was indeed him who had held everyone back. Otherwise, things might already look quite different now.
"So, it's been decided that you're going to make a move against Frieza, Talot?" North Kai asked from the side.
He had known about Talot and the others' plan for a long time, but it had never been openly discussed.
A year ago, at Talot's request, he had been monitoring the situation in the mortal world, essentially acting as their surveillance camera to ensure that Frieza and his father wouldn't act recklessly across the universe.
Of course, the main concern was still preventing Frieza from heading to Planet Yardrat.
After all, it was on Planet Yardrat that Cooler had been killed.
"That was the plan a year ago, and now that both Salari and Raditz have achieved Super Saiyan transformation, the battle against Frieza can indeed happen at any time.
"But before that, we still need to make a trip back to Earth. First, Raditz has only just made his breakthrough and still needs some time to stabilize and consolidate it. Second, we need to inform our family.
"Especially Aunt Gine. After all, Frieza is the greatest enemy of us Saiyan."
After saying this, Talot gazed deeply at North Kai.
The moment Talot uttered that Frieza was their greatest enemy, he could clearly sense a shift in North Kai's emotions.
This was expected. Others might not know, but North Kai was well aware that the Saiyans' true greatest enemy wasn't Frieza, it was the God of Destruction, Beerus.
Although without Beerus, Frieza would have likely wiped out the Saiyans eventually anyway...
But it was indeed God of Destruction Beerus who gave the initial order, which directly hastened the event.
"Well, it's true. Since it's Frieza we're dealing with, we need to be fully prepared. And over the past year, I've been subtly hinting that not only have you all been improving rapidly, Frieza has too. Because you killed Cooler, he's been training non-stop. I don't know exactly how strong he's become, but it's safe to say that he's probably not any weaker than Cooler now. Also, there's Frieza's father, King Cold, his strength shouldn't be underestimated either," North Kai said tactfully, but he still clearly conveyed the situation.
Salari and Raditz's expressions turned serious, understanding the meaning behind his words.
North Kai was telling them that if they couldn't match the enemy in power, they shouldn't force a confrontation.
He was especially warning the two of them that, even though they had achieved the Super Saiyan transformation, if they couldn't surpass what Cooler was a year ago, then dealing with Frieza would still be difficult.
Talot, however, was not flustered. Things had come to this point, and this was his own decision.
He also wanted Frieza to become stronger, ideally, King Cold too.
Only when faced with sufficient pressure could he grow stronger faster. Otherwise, the end point he could reach will always be limited.
"So that means Frieza is still training on his home planet? He hasn't come out at all?" Talot asked.
Based on the intelligence they received a year ago, they originally thought Frieza would reemerge soon. Now it seemed Frieza was being very cautious.
Perhaps due to a lack of experience and pressure, his power growth hadn't been going smoothly.
In the original work, he had Goku and Vegeta from the Super Era to compare himself to. But now, the only person he was measuring himself against was his older brother.
If he had already surpassed Cooler by a wide margin, with his arrogant nature, he would've come out long ago.
North Kai shook his head. "If he had come out, I would've known immediately! Unfortunately, due to certain reasons, I can't use my full power. Otherwise, even though Frieza's home planet has materials that block mental probing, I'd still be able to detect his exact situation."
"It doesn't matter. Since Frieza is still training, let him train! We'll give him all the time he needs. Let's see whether the potential of us Saiyans is greater, or Frieza's!" Talot nodded.
Arrogant, yet confident!
If it were possible, Talot would even hope Frieza became strong enough to crush him.
That way, he'd have greater motivation and a bigger target to chase after in becoming stronger.
Hearing his words, Salari and Raditz were fired up.
Their strength had been growing continuously, and now they were at the level where they could defeat the old Frieza. There was no way Raditz and Salari would actually fear Frieza becoming stronger.
"You really! I knew you'd actually be happier to face a stronger Frieza," North Kai said, shaking his head helplessly.
Only Talot, who had created miracle after miracle, could take this in stride. If it were anyone else, North Kai would've been worried sick.
"But since Frieza is still in training, how are we supposed to make a move?" Salari asked the obvious question.
"At worst, we'll just charge straight to Frieza's home planet! Let him feel what it's like to be invaded!" Raditz said bluntly, his fierce tone showing his current eagerness.
Talot shook his head. "We'll go back to Earth first, we have plenty of time. If he keeps hiding and refuses to come out, it won't be too late to find him on his home planet. Besides, his father, King Cold, is also one of our targets…"
