Warm morning sunshine greeted the day after an overnight rainstorm. The ground was still a little muddy, but at least the atmosphere wasn't too humid.
The sound of wet leaves being stepped on made the wild cats scamper away. The steps came from two people wearing black hoods that covered their heads.
The two people were none other than Randa and Ardi who walked through the tree line.
After walking for a while, the two people arrived at a paved road.
"Do you really want to leave them?" asked Ardi, looking up at the bright blue sky.
"I'm sick of living in that village anyway. Uncle Herman is dead, Reizel and Lana are gone, and Rama isn't even back," replied Randa who was looking around, trying to remember which direction they should take.
"You're right, but are you sure you're traveling alone like this?"
Randa immediately looked at Ardi. "Well, I'm not alone, am I?"
"I... Yes... But... That... Your original plan was to leave the village. Isn't it dangerous to move alone?"
