"Tell me everything. How was the engagement party?" Eamon asked as they took a stroll in the garden and Damon smiled as he recalled memories of that night.
"It was good. I feel so happy that things between Alexander and I are getting more serious." Damon admitted and Eamon's eyes darted around the garden.
His friend's fiancé was nowhere in sight.
"Where is Alexander?" Eamon asked and Damon's smile faded as a soft sigh escaped his lips.
"He left this morning. Alexander is determined to find a way of breaking my curse so I reluctantly let him go on this quest." Damon explained, missing his fiancé already.
They walked in silence for a while as Eamon processed the new piece of information.
He really hoped that the man indeed found a way of saving his best friend.
"He really loves you." Eamon admitted and Damon's eyes were pained as he briefly glanced at him.
