"Usually, its a small tattoo of your mate's dragon. In this case, mine. It makes other dragons that could be interested in you aware that you are already taken. It's the magic within dragons that makes the mark appear that way." Valerion added and Eamon finally understood the various artistic dragon tattoos he had seen on many dragon's necks.
Even Tia had one and he had originally thought that they were just tattoos crafted by a very skilled artist but now he knew that they were marks and he was going to get one too.
Something about having a mini Valerion tattooed on his neck made him smile. He liked this mark already.
"I am glad you are happy about it." Valerion smiled, sensing his mate's emotions.
"I love it." Eamon admitted with a smile.
"You said that you wanted to mark me as well. I could get a tattoo of you." Valerion suggested and Eamon's eyes lit up as they met the stormy grey eyes that were gazing down at him.
