It's not like it's important, but first things first...

Multiple level ups will only sound the fanfare once. Would it get rarer as she got stronger? Secondly, she can't distribute her stats like others do. With each level her stats go up in a uniform manner. With the quantity itself, it meant that she would eclipse anyone of the same level anyway, but it also meant the earlier levels are going to be tough against those who specced into specific builds. The gap between herself and the stronger individuals of this world however... Is closing.
Her stats are now mostly the same as the old thug's, the only difference was his immense strength and agility. Since the magic stats are similar... She would undoubtedly be able to kill him off earlier with the threads. The pike wouldn't need so much adjusting and pushing to lodge cleanly into his neck. From this she could assert the threat of magic is the same in her world, a magic caster is more dangerous than a warrior. At least for now, maybe warriors can learn some anti magic skills to protect themselves.
"... Who made that noise?" (Lastia)
There was no one in particular. She had found an empty spot, relatively clean and desolated. Even so the sound wouldn't leave her mind. The fanfare, the world followed the mechanics of a game, but... Why? She was within Vinia's data right now, she had been here all this time for an entire day. Why would it bring her to a world like this? Calling it Vinia's data was disingenuous, that Vinia was constructed with data that was already stored inside her, in other words it was the past Lastia's data. What did any of this serve?
For a moment her breathing stopped, she couldn't let go of this unsettling sensation. As if digging into a truth that shouldn't have been evinced, a secret best kept buried.

"... P-please spare me!" (?)
A girl, petite, perhaps malnourished came out of the dark. Did she goad her into coming out? Even though the question was not meant for her, Lastia truly didn't notice she was there.
"A thief? Unfortunately I don't have anything for you to take. And surely you can smell it..." (Lastia)
"Agh! Ahhh!! Enough! No need to threaten me, I understand you're caked in blood. I can smell it from 3 alleyways away. You killed someone and you're only at level 4?" (thief?)
"That's right, I was level one before. I just arrived in this city and got attacked. You wouldn't be having any funny ideas would you?" (Lastia)
"... I... I cleaned this spot earlier in the morning. I got curious about who wandered into my territory. You can't blame me for being curious, can you?" (thief?)
She ignored the threat. She had some strength herself, way more than what Lastia started with. She was more than likely a kid, did she survive on her own sleeping in the open? A fellow vagrant... As a person from the abundance era, the idea of sleeping outside was completely abhorrent. Thankfully she had enough common sense not to ask the government for lodging, if they had any extra housing units there wouldn't be homeless people like the thief classed individual in front of her.
It came down to the fact she held absolutely no money, she determined the cracks between houses, the alleyways would serve the best for shelter even if she had to bare with the dust. She didn't think these places would be so lived in, so full of traces of other humans that it even felt downright nasty. Why are they here? Shouldn't she be the only traveller from outside the world? Those who were born here should have inherited housing from their parents...
"... I come from outside the kingdom, so I need a place to sleep. You... Don't you have a proper home?" (Lastia)
"... This is my home. As soon as I was aware, I didn't have any parents nor did anybody come look for me. I stole food to survive, and I had to learn the hard way that it was impossible to live without others...
Someone kind taught me how to speak, what parents were and where I exist in all this chaos. Most kids like me wouldn't survive long enough to learn. " (thief?)
So that was it. That's why Lastia felt like this person had far more strength than she looked. Unlike that violent thug who would kill for what he wanted, she was truly alone. The thug had others, a gang, a place in this world, a way to beat down others and take what he wanted, a way to hide or intimidate public security. The thief girl had none of that, she could only fight those stronger than her, accept the reality that she's weak and devise ways to retaliate without direct violence.
"I see. You came to probe me out. Unfortunately for you, we're too similar. I'm also used to fighting in unfair battles." (Lastia)
She shifted stance in an instant, converging her surface area into a smaller silhouette. Think? A thief class would also be adept at disarming and setting up traps, this person didn't just pick up stealth or she would never have survived this long. Likewise, Lastia was conditioned to respond with full force, or maybe even more force than what her body could handle.
She needed this sort of skill to survive even if she sacrificed some bones and limbs. The most valuable thing she possessed was her skill, she recognised that her magical girl skill was something absolutely absurd that others could never have, and how it usually bridged the gap between her and those that are stronger.
Right now, the thief girl was still in the same alleyway she is. Even if hit by an arrow or a magic attack, Lastia can force herself through one trap and attack her enemy.
"... *yawn* let's sleep together. That way it won't be so cold. I'll lay down first, onee-chan." (thief?)
Negotiation and reading the enemy was yet another important skill. Lastia sat down without much thought and leaned onto the girl, their breaths intertwined peacefully into the night. No one could see it, but the thief girl smiled a little in her sleep, today it would freeze as much as yesterday.
