Chapter 117 - Chapter 25[Volume 2]

Jon looked at the white room again. He had been there for the last few weeks, improving everything he could. He still had to enhance the old quarters of Volantis to complete the improvements, but he was already on the right track. He glanced at the computer.

{Name: Jon Snow

He pressed "Summoning Magic."

{Do you want to spend five skill points to get the second Level: 5 summon upgrade?

 YES / NO }

He nodded in affirmation.

{Summoning Magic Level: 5

 Unique Magic:

He nodded.

Looking at his Level, it seemed he could summon more soldiers now that he had passed level thirty.

He examined the room closely and saw Rhaenys sleeping on a couch. A smile crossed his face at the sight of her.

"Your Majesty, news from the West," said a guard who had just arrived.

Jon took the note in his hand.

Ned Stark destroyed the Iron Islands.

Jon frowned. That didn't sound like his father.

"What the hell is going on there?" he thought, feeling somewhat frustrated.

He would like to know what was really happening with his family.

Bran sighed in frustration as he watched the others walk with him across the ice. The other side of the wall felt a bit uncomfortable, but at least they were getting to their destination.

He heard some footsteps and hid with the rest. They watched attentively as someone approached, accompanied by others.

No, they were not people.

"White walkers," he whispered.

They turned to him as if they knew where he was and ran toward him.

"RUN!" exclaimed Ossa.

Bran quickly flew away, only to be impaled in the shoulder by some sort of ice spear.

"BRAN!" he heard.

He groaned in pain as he fell.

Meera rushed to him and stopped the bleeding.

A scream echoed as a walker grabbed Rickon, who was kicking desperately.

"RICKON!" Bran shouted, getting to his feet.

Rickon pulled out his knife and stabbed the walker, but the knife broke upon hitting the walker's skin.

Fortunately, Summer and Shaggydog jumped on the walker, forcing it to release Rickon and fight them instead.

Rickon ran, but two specters stood in front of him.

He remembered his summoning ability.

"Vital Point," he whispered.

Suddenly, to his amazement, he saw several lights illuminating the bodies of the specters.

"I'm here, little lord," he heard Ossa say.

"Can you give me a knife?" he muttered.

Ossa blinked but complied.

Rickon attacked to her horror. The first specter fell at the first contact. The second attacked, but Rickon threw himself to the ground and hit it in the knee, it fell like the first.

Rickon arrived in the white room and looked at the computer. He saw that he had leveled up, reaching Level: 2 with one skill point, but he preferred to wait until he reached Level: 3 to upgrade his small weapons.

Bran watched as Rickon dispatched two wights and saw Summer and Hairpelt keeping the walker occupied, or at least distracted.

"Electric skin," Bran whispered.

The wraiths might not feel pain, but an electric shock could destroy them if they attacked him. And it worked, every wraith that tried to catch him literally exploded.

He noticed Meera and her brother fighting another specter, and he knew he had to do something. Ossa and Rickon joined him.

"Go with Meera and Jojen. We must retreat... Hodor," he said.

The giant arrived.

"Hodor, I want you to help the others escape. Understand?" he instructed.

"Hodor," the giant nodded.

"What are you going to do?" Rickon asked.

"I'll fly," he said.

"But what if he throws you again?" Rickon asked.

"I was distracted. This time I won't be," he promised.

Rickon nodded.

Bran let out a high-pitched whistle, and the two wolves came toward him.

"Shaggydog, go with Rickon," Bran ordered.

The wolf complied.

"Come on, Summer. Let's distract that thing," Bran whispered.

The wolf howled.

Bran flew toward the walker, waiting to evade its attack. When the walker lunged, Bran dodged, and Summer attacked from behind.

The walker pulled away, and Bran attacked.

The white walker was alone, there were two of them—one attacking and one distracted. He felt annoyed, but he couldn't avoid both attacks or attack both at the same time.

He arrived in the white room and went to the computer.

{ Congratulations! You have leveled up and obtained a familiar.

Bran blinked and processed what he had just read.

{ Name: Summer

 Familiar

 Level: 1

 Communication: Communicates with his master mentally.}

Bran had leveled up to Level: 5 with one skill point and left the place.

"Do you understand me?" Bran asked.

"Yeah, I understand you," replied his wolf in a cheerfully exaggerated tone.

"Go ahead, I'll be with you soon," Bran said with a smile.

"As you wish, but I can take him down if I want," said the wolf, going after Rickon.

Bran smiled and looked at the white walker, the two of them standing there for a few moments. Knowing the others were far enough away, he made a fist and raised his middle finger.

The walker looked confused before Bran flew away at full speed, dodging the spear the walker threw at him, and headed toward the others. He arrived just as they continued running.

Jon sighed patiently as he finished upgrading the quarters of old Volantis. He had trained with Aegon a few days before, the boy was good but predictable. Jon remembered training with Robb in the same way.

He shook his head, looked at the computer, and finished entering the points to improve the neighborhoods of old Volantis.

He arrived at the white room.

{ Congratulations! You have gained a Level, and a title.

 Name: Jon Snow

Title: King of Valyria / King of Volantis

 Skill Points: 3

 Level: 33 (0/37,000)

 Health: 3,300/3,300

 Mana: 3,050/3,050

 Attributes: Low

 Skills:

- Swordsmanship Level: 4

- Summons Level: 5}

Jon saw that nothing could be improved for the moment and left the room.

Rhaenys entered.

"Princess," he greeted.

She raised an eyebrow.

"Your Majesty," she said, bowing.

Jon looked at her with amusement. He appreciated the look she gave him with a tilt of her head, he knew she did it on purpose, as was clear from the provocative smile on the face of the princess of the Seven Kingdoms.

She smiled back at him, amused and a little proud to have caught the attention of the King of Volantis and Valyria so easily.

They had been flirting like this for days, it was exciting for her and fun, too. She had had a couple of love interests in her life, but all the men she was interested in had been intimidated by Jon Connington, who had warded off pests. Jon Snow was different, he had power, and even if he didn't, he wouldn't fear his guardian.

He was now also her host.

"Shall we have dinner?" she asked.

Jon offered her his arm, eager to see her newly improved mansion in the Volantis neighborhood, and why not enjoy dinner with the beautiful princess while she was around?

Robb looked intently at the three approaching soldiers, Grey Wind at his side.

The first soldier fell before the wolf's attack.

"Critical hit," he whispered.

One more soldier fell to his attack, and the third watched in fear before also falling to Grey Wind.

"Robb!" he heard as a group approached to help him.

"Defend yourselves!" he commanded.

The others nodded, unaware of how Robb's magic imbued them, making them more cautious and improving their defenses.

A squad of thirty soldiers attacked them, but the Northerners formed an iron wall that impeded their advance.

The Lannisters could do little against the steel wall of northern armor and shields.

Robb felt a light in his eyes and reached the white room. He leveled up to 7 with one skill point.

He left the room and watched as more men arrived.

"This will be hard," he thought.

Sansa, tired from so much healing, looked at the next patient. Her phoenix, Red, fluttered around the healing center, helping her from time to time.

"Thank you, Sansa," a woman murmured as she watched her heal her son.

Sansa smiled at him.

"Everything's going to be okay," she reassured him, and the boy was surrounded by light before recovering.

Sansa arrived at the white room.

She approached the monitor.

{ Congratulations! You have gained a Level, and a title.

She looked curiously at the title and left the room.

She saw more wounded arriving, this seemed to never end.

Robb looked at little Jon Umber while holding back three Lannisters. He noticed a heavily armored man approaching him from behind.

Robb ran and attacked the armored man.

"Break defense," he whispered as he hit the soldier.

A loud bang resonated as the armor shattered as if it were made of glass.

"What the hell?!" the Lannisters whispered.

Both they and the Northerners looked at Robb with shock on their faces.

Little Jon burst out laughing.

"They like fighting Southerners! This is the strength of the North! THE strength of the Starks! This is the great wolf!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, laughing.

 Great Wolf!

 Great Wolf!

The chant echoed throughout the battlefield.

Robb felt a light illuminate him and reached the white room. He approached the monitor.

{ You have gained a title.

The boy smiled and left the room.

"Attack!" he exclaimed.

The Northerners charged toward the Southerners.

Ned boarded a boat at Pike Docks.

"Take care of organizing everything," he said.

Wylis Manderly nodded.

"What about the heiress?" he asked.

"I'll leave her on the ships for now. Then I'll decide what to do with her," Ned replied.

The man nodded and watched him go.

"If he continues to use his fury like this, there won't be a war, just a massacre," he muttered.

Robb panted wearily as he pulled a small bottle of blue concoction out of his pocket, took a sip, and drank the entire contents.

"I have to thank Talisa, leveling up to 3 and obtaining mana potions was very useful," he thought as he felt his mana restore slightly.

"There it is," he heard, turning to see a group of ten men. He got into a defensive position.

Grey Wind was wiping out Lannisters, but Robb was alone.

The first soldier attacked him, and he stopped the attack, countering swiftly. The soldier fell.

Three others approached him.

Robb cursed. He took one out immediately, but another attacked him, wounding him in the shoulder.

Robb fell and rolled on the ground to avoid the third's thrust.

"Critical hit," he whispered.

He got up and attacked, the soldier tried to stop his strike but was sent to the ground by the blow. Robb did not hesitate and stabbed the third soldier in the stomach, then turned and finished him off on the ground.

He arrived at the white room. Sighing tiredly, he approached the monitor.

{Congratulations! You have Leveled up!

 Name: Robb Stark

 Title: Great Wolf

 Skill Points: 3

 Level: 8 (0/750)

 Health: 750/750

 Mana: 800/800

 Attributes: Low

 Skills:

- Support Magic Level: 2

- Swordsmanship Level: 2}

He could choose to upgrade Support Magic to Level: 3 or Swordsmanship to Level: 3.

"What's better for me?" he muttered.

He made his decision.

{ Do you want to spend three skill points to upgrade Support Magic to Level: 3?

 YES / NO }

He pressed yes.

{Support Magic Level: 3

Cost: 290 mana.

 Fast: Increases your army's speed by 200%.}

The boy walked out of the room and saw the seven remaining soldiers approaching when an arrow struck one of them. He watched as Dacey and little Jon drew closer.

"Quick!" he ordered.

The other two attacked swiftly, their movements incredibly fast. Robb followed them, feeling as if his armor and weapons were light. Even the Lannisters' attacks seemed slow.

A trumpet sounded, the enemies were retreating.
