The war drums of the future had not yet sounded, but Chaos stirred.

But far above them, in the quietest point of the sky, Xou Wong wept alone under the silver leaves of Tsukiyuki no Mori. She had left the Heavens to protect her unborn child — the son of forbidden love, one forged between Fire and Rain, between Moonlight and War's Descendant.
Her consort, Fuceng, had returned to the flames — banished by the High Thrones for siring a child of prophecy with a goddess of the Rain Court.
In the center of the forest, a single tree bloomed with crystal petals. Beneath it, as snow and moonlight twirled in silence, Xou Wong gave birth.
And Then He Cried
His cry was not a scream.
It was a howl of wind and fire — yet also a silence so deep it shattered the frost on nearby mountains.
The moon split its reflection in the lake.
The snow burned blue.
And there he lay, wrapped in a veil of mist and ice — his eyes glowing faintly white, with a mark of two dragons spiraling across his back.

Li Chun (離春) – "Departure from Spring" — for he would never know warmth without pain.

And Yang opened his final eye — the Eye of Stillness — and gazed into Yuzi's soul, whispering:

Akitsuki Raien (秋月 雷炎)
"Autumn Moon, Thunder Flame"
A name given by a priest who found him after a storm. He lives among mortals, silent and watchful, unaware that his divine soul trembles with sleeping chaos.
A secret division of elite royal warriors — Nightshade (夜影隊 – Yōeitai) — chosen from among the noble children of the kingdom, trained to defend the Mortal Realms against ancient horrors.
They wear black-violet cloaks, inscribed with moonsteel runes, and carry weapons bound with divine sigils. The Monster they Face, Zanshu'ra, The Hungering Tangle
A 10-headed serpent beast, body the size of a fig-tree, with sharp claws, brown-gold eyes, and venom that burns stone.
It awakens from a cursed lake after a lunar eclipse.
When Zanshu'ra attacks the outskirts of Hikarishi, Raien joins Nightshade under orders from Princess Nanami, who feels an "ancient pulse" from him.
But when Raien's emotions break, the air freezes, and the serpent recoils — as if it remembers him from another age…
