Just as Alex finished eating and placed his empty plate in the kitchen, the doors at the end of the hallway swung open.
"Alex, you're awake?"
"Yeah."
Sophia's face looked barely awake as she headed into the bathroom before closing the door behind her.
"What was that for?"
Alex didn't think too much of it as he opened the fridge, taking out two takeout boxes that had different covers.
He quickly put both of the foods into the pan, then turned on the stove and waited for it to heat up properly.
After stirring it for a few minutes, Alex put the heated-up food onto two separate plates before carrying it over to the dining table.
Sitting down, he idly waited until the bathroom door opened.
Sophia now looked much more energized, with a few water droplets dripping down as she quickly noticed the plate of food on her side of the table.
"You already cooked breakfast for me? Aww, how nice of you—"
"I'm going to go wake Mary up."
