Chapter 101 - Declaration.

Inside a large size cave there was a middle aged man who was lying on a stone bed. It was heavenly king Mu Bai. His body was patched up with bandages.

"How do you feel?" A crisp voice entered his ears. Mu Bai weakly opened his eyes, and a blue-haired girl came into view.

Memories surged back. It was this girl who had saved him from imminent death. At that time, when he was on the verge of death, he saw a bright light flashing. A girl clad in white robe standing tall in-front of him. She waved her palm and the heavenly kings died one after another. Their heads exploded like watermelon, body and soul were destroyed.

Her blue hair danced in the wind as she looked down upon her enemies with frosty indifference. Even the mighty great saints had been suppressed beneath her palm, unable to rise.

Now, seeing her clearly before him, Mu Bai understood: the woman who saved him was none other than a Dao Sovereign level expert.

"Better…" he forced out weakly.

Jessi smiled, "Alright, take rest and heal. You are safe here."

"My daughter…." Mu Bai wanted to ask about Mu Yan.

Jessi's smile faded as she sighed softly. "I am sorry, i wasn't able to take her with me. That brat took her away."

Mu Bai's eyes dimmed. Grief and fury surged through his chest, his heart was burning with the desire to slaughter every last member of the Blade Wing Sect.

"Someone wishes to see you," Jessi suddenly said.

"Who?" Mu Bai was puzzled. Who would seek him out in this wretched state

Jessi gestured and an old man walked in. It was grandpa Wang, his body was also riddled with injuries. The moment he saw Mu Bai, he collapsed to his knees, tears streaming down his aged face.

"Forgive me, I couldn't protect them."

Heavenly King Mu bai's eyes softened as he spoke, "It was my fault for not being strong enough. I dragged the entire family with me…."

The cave was filled with sorrow. Jessi did not disturb their reunion and quietly turned to leave.

"Sect Master," Mu Bai called out, his voice was trembling with sincerity, "this life-saving grace… I will never forget. I will repay it, no matter what."

In the past he had heard about the deeds of this mysterious woman who became the sect master of the locust sect. She was famous in eastern territory as its number one expert. Even now, she's still a top expert of this region.

He remembered someone said, locust sect master had blue hairs which was unique.

Jessi's tone was indifferent. "We are both of the eastern territory. I will not allow outsiders to trample one of my own." With that, she departed the cave.

Outside, rows of massive tents spread across the rugged terrain. An elder of the Locust Sect approached swiftly, bowing respectfully.

"Sect master, this time we completely offended the blade wing sect. What if they retaliate against us?" The elder said worriedly.

Jessi twirled a strand of her blue hair around her finger, her gaze extended far away as she spoke slowly. "Fifth Elder, I did not kill their saints, nor did I harm their so called saint child. Merely a few heavenly kings were cut down. For that, would they dare declare war on me? Tell me, who would risk offending a Dao Sovereign over some insignificant heavenly kings?"

The elder was speechless, heavenly king was considered weak? Even he had toiled his entire life to reach the heavenly king realm. And to his sect master's eyes, heavenly kings became cabbage that could be cut down any time.

As if sensing his thoughts, Jessi explained with a faint smile. "Do not be mistaken. In our eastern territory, heavenly kings may be revered as supreme. But in the grand scheme of things, they are nothing. In those powerful regions, countless heavenly kings can be cultivated within a single decade. Do you understand now?"

Realization dawned on the elder. His face flushed with shame as he bowed. "Sect Master's teachings are wise. My vision was too narrow."

Jessi waved her hand and dismissed the elder as she went inside her tent.

Her expression grimaced as soon as she came inside and sat down crossed legged.

She was a person from earth, her path was different from those cultivators. Her powers awakened naturally, unlike those cultivators who cultivated hard for hundred years.

Jessi could feel the stream of Qi energy flowing through her body, it was connected with her limbs, muscles, organs, and bones.

For other cultivators, their source of Qi energy was their spirit sea. But for her, there was no source. The Qi energy circulated naturally, as time passed, her Qi energy also grew with her, making her stronger. When she reached the dao sovereign realm, it stopped growing. It was as if there was a suppression.

No matter how many medicines or sacred pills she consumed, her cultivation would not advance.

The dao injury inside her body would cause the Qi energy to flow in reverse, surging violently against her meridians, causing excruciating pain. If this continued, her realm might collapse entirely. And with things going on like this, her cultivation realm would drop. This time, when she fought, her dao injury relapsed, she didn't show it outside because it might cause unpredictable mishaps. After all human heart is difficult to predict.

She remembered Li Shenrong said he'd help her solve it. Yet she couldn't sit still. She wanted to find an opportunity for herself.

In the end, she sighed quietly and meditated in a corner.

One day suddenly a colossal dharma avatar tore through the sky.

"Locust sect listen up, If you do not surrender within three days, and present the head of your Sect Master, the Ice Sea Dragon Palace shall annihilate you! None shall survive!"

This was heard and spread to almost everyone within the ancient ruin.

"What! Ice sea dragon palace! It is an ancient behemoth in the northern territory. Why did they suddenly declare war on the small locust sect?"

People were confused. Northern territory was dominated by sea people and extremely far away.

Moreover the one who made the declaration was a true god of the ice sea dragon palace, an ancestor level character.

Some who knew the inside story whispered, "I heard… a Sea God of the Ice Sea Dragon Palace perished in Locust Sect territory. This is vengeance."

"No wonder. This time locust sect is finished."

Cultivators from the eastern territory looked gloomy, they felt anger and hatred. Because many forces had been bullied by those from outside regions. They had to endure everything silently, afraid that they might be destroyed. Sad part was that even if all the forces from the eastern territory gather together, they won't be a match for those powerful forces from different regions.

When Chu Yang heard the declaration, he immediately felt delighted. "Hehe, Locust sect. I don't know how they offended the Ice sea dragon palace but this is an opportunity for me to take revenge." His eyes shined with sinister light.

He immediately contacted few powerful elders from his sect and took turn, moving toward the Ice sea dragon palace's location.
