Mo Nanjue's face was cold to the extreme, "Take your hand off, I'll count to three."
Tong Ran stretched out her hands and hugged his arm, "One."
Mo Nanjue opened his eyes.
She counted again for him, "Two."
"Tong Ran, do you really have a death wish?"
"Three."
Tong Ran lifted her head, "So, you've finished counting to three, and you..."
Mo Nanjue suddenly turned over, rolling Tong Ran off the bed with him, but the man landed first, holding her down on top of him, rendering her unable to move, "I know I was wrong..."
She knew it, but it was too late.
The shouting never stopped, and it wasn't until the second half of the night, just as Tong Ran was about to cry, that Mo Nanjue let her go.
Tong Ran only knew she was dazedly carried back to bed, her whole body wiped with a damp towel, the movements gentle and soothing to the point of intoxication.
