Recently, though, she's been a bit down, and he doesn't know what she's sad about. Several times she seemed like she wanted to say something but stopped herself. Wesley pondered recent events; there seemed to be nothing worth being sad about. Everything was moving in a positive direction. Could it be a problem with her health? But that didn't seem right either, as he's her partner and is most familiar with changes in her body; there's no way there could be a problem.
