The wide bed of agarwood, six feet in width, is draped with shark gauze precious curtains, embroidered with silver-threaded begonia flowers throughout. As the wind rises, the gauze flutters, resembling clouds descending upon mountain illusions and sea fantasies. On the couch is a green jade fragrance pillow, covered with soft silk ice bamboo mat, layered with jade belt layered silk quilt.
The Empress sits on the Noble Consort Chair by the bed, reading a book.
Suddenly, faint footsteps are heard outside, followed soon by the Fourth Prince shouting, "Mother, I haven't seen you for days, I've missed you."
