A black cloud with a diameter of about 200 meters hovered at an altitude of nearly 500 meters above the ground, rotating slowly and independently without being affected by any weather conditions. It was completely out of tune with the natural weather changes. Every second, 30 to 50 clawing monsters would emerge from the cloud and continuously descend to the ground, immediately rushing in all directions like a tide.
A few agile monsters, especially those adept in flying, couldn't wait to land and would voluntarily break away from the slow descent area and fly towards distant places.
The nearby area used to be a small town. However, shortly after the appearance of the black cloud, it was flattened by the monsters, with only a few lucky ones managing to escape.
Not only humans were affected. Even the wild animals living in the region suffered. Whether herbivores, carnivores, or omnivores, they were all dug out and devoured by the monsters, including mutants rampaging in remote areas.
