A few seconds earlier, Kaya and Nojiko spot the entrance to the throne room completely blocked by wax.
Then, without slowing down, the two head toward the blocked entrance at supersonic speed, with Kaya destroying the wax wall with a punch while Nojiko keeps moving forward into the room.
We return then to the present. With wax covering her shield, Nojiko briefly looks at the unconscious King behind her before shouting, "Kaya, the King needs treatment here!"
Responding to the call quickly, Kaya disappears from where she was and appears kneeling beside the King, already beginning to treat him.
Seeing this, Nojiko turns her gaze back to the giant golem in front of her and slams her axe against her shield, breaking the wax that covered it.
Not even a second after doing this, and without giving Mr. 3 a chance to say anything, Nojiko hurls her shield at the wax golem.
Cutting through the air with a few sonic booms accompanying it, Nojiko's shield collides with the wax golem's chest in a matter of microseconds, causing a massive crash before ricocheting and returning to its owner's hand.
The result of this simple attack, in which Haki was not even involved in the mix, is Mr. 3's giant wax golem exploding into thousands of pieces while his real body is hurled backward like an unguided missile.
Meanwhile, seeing that the King was in good hands, Karoo turns his full attention to Mr. 4, who was already upon him, attacking.
Dodging a downward vertical attack from Mr. 4's baseball bat, Karoo lands a solid kick to the agent's stomach, sending him sliding several good meters backward.
Without wasting time, Karoo approaches a piece of debris that fell from the ceiling, then lifts it into the air and kicks it toward Mr. 4 with all his strength.
As soon as he stops sliding, Mr. 4 sees a large chunk of concrete rapidly coming his way.
He then swings his baseball bat with all his strength, completely obliterating the debris.
It turns out that, by doing so, Mr. 4 fell directly into the trap Karoo set for him; the debris coming toward him was merely bait to make him swing his bat and thus leave himself open to attacks.
So, the moment Mr. 4 realizes his mistake, Karoo is already there, charging straight at him at full speed.
With only one step left to reach him, Karoo gives one final push forward as he leaves the ground and begins spinning on his own axis, like a drill.
"Duck Drill!!!", Karoo shouts as he spins through the air, striking Mr. 4 square in the stomach, his beak lodging so deeply that the agent's body bends in half for a few moments before being thrown to the other side of the room like an out-of-control missile.
Right after Mr. 4 collides with one of the walls of the throne room, a silence settles over the area for a few seconds before a hoarse, exhausted voice echoes from within the large cloud of dust that had just formed, "Do you think this is over? No, we'll still come back when you least expect it! Doru Doru no Yakata!!!"
Not even an instant later, a large number of wax clones identical to Mr. 3 emerge from within the dust cloud and begin moving around the room.
Mr. 3's idea was to use his clones to keep these idiots busy while he rescued Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas before making a strategic retreat. But, as one might imagine, all of this failed spectacularly for one simple reason: Observation Haki.
Briefly glancing at all those wax clones, Nojiko basically ignores their existence and hurls her shield at the exact spot where the real Mr. 3 was, knocking him out instantly.
As soon as the man falls to the ground, completely knocked out, his wax clones dissolve into nothing.
Not long after, the dust cloud settles completely, revealing an unconscious Mr. 4, with blood dripping from his mouth due to Karoo's earlier attack.
Looking around, Nojiko asks, clearly disappointed with the level of this fight, "Is that it? That was pretty anticlimactic."
"Quack quack quack quack!" "There's one more down there!", Karoo warns them about Miss Merry Christmas, gesturing toward the hole in the floor with his wing.
More or less understanding what Karoo was trying to say, Nojiko jumps down to the lower floor.
A few seconds later, Kaya and Karoo hear a loud crash coming from below, with Nojiko returning to the throne room shortly after. On her shoulder was a completely unconscious Miss Merry Christmas, with a huge bump on her head.
Throwing Miss Merry Christmas onto the ground, Nojiko comments with an ironic smile, "This one was yapping down there. As soon as she saw me, she started bragging that she would easily defeat me now that you made the mistake of fixing her spine, Karoo! I think she wouldn't have stopped if I had let her keep talking."
Shrugging, Karoo comments without caring much, "Quack quack quack, quack quack quack quack." "I guess she got lucky, or maybe I've got some kind of hidden talent."
"How is he, Kaya?", letting out an amused snort, Nojiko turns her gaze back to Kaya and asks, wanting to know the King's condition.
Finishing setting Cobra's arm in a cast, Kaya says with a sigh as she steps away from the King, completely bandaged, "He's got a lot of bruises and a broken arm, but nothing to worry about! He'll be fine."
Briefly glancing at the destroyed throne room, Nojiko lets out a sigh before starting to move the three intruders to the same spot. "Well, let's tie these idiots up while no one shows up."
"Should we tie up the weird dog too?", Kaya asks as she picks up the unconscious Lassoo from the floor.
At that moment, Chaka arrives at the throne room at a run, with a contingent of royal guards right behind him.
"What the hell happened here?", Chaka asks upon seeing the destruction of the place; he realized something was going on and rushed over here when Lassoo's first explosive ball hit the ceiling and made the entire palace shake.
"These Baroque Works idiots invaded the palace; I think they were trying to kidnap the King! If it weren't for Karoo holding them here, this fight would've probably happened somewhere else", pointing to the three Baroque Works agents she had just stacked on top of one another, Nojiko says, explaining what happened.
Seeing Cobra unconscious and completely bandaged on the floor, Chaka rushes over to him, worried.
"No need to worry, I've already treated him! He'll be fine", Kaya says, reassuring him.
"Where are the guards assigned to the throne room?", letting out a relieved sigh, Chaka asks as he looks around and sees neither the body nor the presence of a single guard.
"No idea. Were there any guards here when you arrived, Karoo?", Nojiko replies before turning to Karoo and asking, just to be sure.
"Quack, quack quack quack quack quack." "No, it was just these guys already dragging the King out of the room", Karoo replies, shaking his head in denial.
"This is strange, there should've been some guards here at all times", frowning deeply, Chaka comments upon receiving confirmation that there was no one in the area while they were trying to kidnap the King.
"More intruders in the palace then, these have probably been here for a while. We can tell who they are, right?", Kaya comments as she hands Lassoo to Nojiko, who, with the help of the royal guards, was tying up the intruders with ropes.
Turning to an unoccupied guard, Chaka begins to give orders, "Find out who was supposed to be on guard here and arrest them! Notify the doctors as well."
At that moment, while some guards run off to carry out the orders given by the honorary captain, Sabo arrives at the throne room, carrying with him two more unconscious Baroque Works agents.
Seeing Nojiko and some guards tying up the palace intruders, Sabo says as he hands them the two Baroque Works agents, "Here, there are two more; they were with a bomb in the clock tower in front of the square."
"A bomb?", Chaka asks, worried.
"Yes, but I already took care of it; it exploded safely far away from the island! The cannon that was going to fire it, however, is still there in the tower", Sabo says, reassuring him.
=Scene Break=
Going back a bit in time, after leaving the palace, Sabo arrives at a square, right in front of a clock tower, the place where the two presences he had sensed were.
Inside the tower, up at the top, Mr. 7 and Miss Father's Day had just placed a large bomb inside a cannon, a task that had been quite exhausting.
"Phew, finally, this bomb is really heavy", Mr. 7 lets out a sigh, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"Do you think after this mission we'll get a raise?", Miss Father's Day asks as she installs an ignition cord at the back of the cannon.
"I don't think so, since you're going to fail and Crocodile will be taken down", suddenly, the two hear an unfamiliar male voice coming from right behind them.
Turning around quickly, the two catch a brief glimpse of a blond young man with a burn scar around his left eye before their vision darkens and they completely pass out.
Right after the two fall to the ground foaming at the mouth, Sabo steps over them and walks around the cannon, looking inside it.
Upon seeing the giant time bomb inside, he scratches his head, thinking about how to get rid of this thing.
Looking around, Sabo sees a lever right next to the giant clock; coincidentally, the cannon was aimed directly at him.
Then, quickly putting the pieces together, Sabo pulls the lever, causing the clock to open outward, giving a direct view of the square below and the royal palace further ahead.
Now, having an easy way to get the bomb out of there, Sabo goes inside the cannon and pulls it out with ease.
With the bomb on his back, Sabo first rips off a fist-sized piece of metal from the cannon's body before jumping out of the tower.
Using his version of Geppo, Sabo ascends into the sky as the people in the square below begin to notice and point at him.
Not long after, high up in the sky, Sabo begins to spin on his own axis before hurling the time bomb far away from the island with tremendous force.
In seconds, the bomb is already flying over the sea, far from the island, and at that exact moment, Sabo takes aim with his Observation and fires the piece of metal he had torn from the cannon earlier.
Like a machine gun of sonic booms, the piece of metal ignites and turns into a formless mass of plasma before quickly striking the bomb midair and piercing through it like a hot knife cutting into a block of butter.
At that moment, the sound of the sea suddenly ceases, and then a flash sweeps across a huge area before a gigantic explosion makes everything tremble, boiling the water below and raising waves.
Meanwhile, seeing that the explosion occurred without any problems and safely, Sabo stops using his Observation and returns inside the clock tower.
Then, grabbing the two Baroque Works agents, Sabo heads back to the palace, going straight to where King Cobra was.
=Scene Break=
Now that the situation in Alubarna has been resolved, we can turn our attention back to the conflict in Nanohana.
Around the square where Vivi and Bon Clay's fight had just begun, the citizens, who had previously been crowded in curiosity, now started to quickly move away from the area, seeking shelter until all this commotion was over.
Meanwhile, looking at his subordinates being completely immobilized by thick vines that had sprung from the floor of absolute nothingness, Mr. 2, Bon Clay, narrowly dodges a root that was trying to do the same to him.
Turning his gaze back to Vivi, Bon Clay sees a green, thorn-covered baseball bat sprouting from her hand, and that's when it clicks: she ate an Akuma no Mi; things just got harder.
"Even if you've eaten an Akuma no Mi, that doesn't mean it'll be easy to defeat me, sweetie! I'm a powerful Okama", Bon Clay says with a smile before dashing straight at Vivi at full speed.
"We'll see about that!", Vivi says before charging straight at Bon Clay, using her maximum speed.
As the two get close to each other and Bon Clay begins to raise his leg to attack, Vivi makes vines sprout from the ground and hold him in place while she strikes him in the chest with a brutal attack from her spiked bat.
Spitting blood, Bon Clay is violently launched backward and downward, his back slamming into the hard concrete with a massive crash, quickly forming a crater of considerable size.
His chest, meanwhile, was completely injured and bloody due to Vivi's ruthless attack and, especially, because of the spikes on her bat.
