Confused and highly strung, Henrietta slowly steps back, tightly hugging the flowers in her hand. Seeing her expression, the knight realizes something-
"You…did not realize it yet, haven't you? After all this time, ever since you lived here."
"What– what did I not realize yet? Please, Mister Knight…do not further complicate your words."
Henrietta's voice begins to shake due to reasons unknown to her. It's just that, whenever the knight speaks, it carries words piercing right through something. Her heart? Her mind? Or perhaps– the entirety, the secret of the village.
The knight closes his eyes, his hand clasped like someone who is praying for their God. He takes a relaxed breathe and opens his eyes yet again, revealing a brighter hue of turquoise.
