–GEO's Verspala branch–
After a brief discussion between Marthel and Vivianne, the two have finally decided to enter, or rather, infiltrate the GEO's quarters. Upon entering, what welcomed them was a pile of documents either for filing or some unfinished ones.
"What are these papers doing in the reception area? Isn't the majority of this pile supposed to be confidential?"
Marthel exhibits his disappointment.
"Master Marthel, this place does look like an abandoned area as you have said. There are no traces of someone being here for a long while."
Vivianne comments as she slips her fingers through a dusty desk.
"Hm…"
Marthel then thinks about the young office worker he encountered a few days ago, wondering how that overworked girl is currently doing.
"Master? Is something wrong?"
Vivianne asks, to which Marthel immediately responds with a light shake with his head.
"Let's be quick. We don't know if someone finally decides to burn this place down."
