Desmond's leap fell short, and thus achieved nothing in closing his distance with Alice. The armor he is currently equipped on is hindering his big movements, however, he still chooses to equip it in order to protect himself from Alice's offensive attempts.
'Tss! I miscalculated my leg strength. But– I need this armor!'
"So you're really not that versed in knighthood training huh?"
Realizing that Desmond only keeps the gear in order to keep himself safe, Alice thinks of a new approach. The mind of a prodigy always has a wide range of ideas.
'Steel armor is susceptible to electric charge. I will have to risk getting close to let myself act as a stable current emitter and discharge all of it to him. I just need a single touch and he will be out for the round.'
Alice bends her knee, showing a stance meant for a dash. Desmond, however, realizes what she is about to attempt. Thus, he is well prepared to take it–
