The waiter's face was red.
Gu Shengyin saw this and could only sigh at how beauty leads people astray.
Lin Ze, on the other hand, seemed unfazed, just staring intently at Gu Shengyin.
"I heard what you said, you said you didn't like me," Lin Ze said softly, his tone carrying a hint of playful complaint.
Gu Shengyin raised an eyebrow: "Don't put words in my mouth. I never said I didn't like you."
Lin Ze's expression lit up with joy.
It seemed as if his every emotion was now in Gu Shengyin's hands.
A word from her would make him smile, another would silence him.
"Sir, madam, your drinks." The gentle voice interrupted the atmosphere between them; it was the same server as before.
Her face had returned to normal, but Gu Shengyin still noticed her gaze linger on Lin Ze for a moment as she walked away.
As the server left, the small space once again contained just the two of them.
Lin Ze suddenly had a moment of clarity.
