Jia Xuan couldn't stop her tears, but amidst the tears, she still smiled faintly.
The fact that he is her brother was destined by heaven, and no one can change it. Even if one day they divorce, and he has a new family and a new life, she can still care for him as a sister, watch over him from afar.
Thinking of this, she finally mustered the courage to unbutton his shirt. She wanted to see the scar on his chest, to look at it closely and carefully. She had rushed back to the Capital City just to see his scar with her own eyes.
However, Gong Lingtuo, who could calmly show his scars to others, stopped her. He held her small hand to sit down and rebuttoned the two buttons she had undone. He looked at her and said, "Don't look."
Jia Xuan's big eyes were full of tears. She forgot everything else, persistently staring at him, "Why can't I look? I want to see!"
