"When did you get back?" Jing Yan stood anxiously in place, suddenly feeling uneasy, like a student who had been caught by her parents after making a mistake, both nervous and scared.
"Just got off the plane," Lou Yusen replied expressionlessly.
Jing Yan didn't know what to say and just stood there motionless, waiting for him to speak.
"You and him... are together now?" Lou Yusen asked, frowning deeply upon seeing her still.
"Yeah," Jing Yan pursed her lips and softly responded.
A silence followed, Lou Yusen's gaze firmly fixed on the woman's evasive eyes until he finally let out a long sigh, saying, "You've finally got your wish, are you happy now?"
Jing Yan stared at Lou Yusen, biting her lip, silent.
Lou Yusen glanced at his watch, his voice carrying a trace of weariness, "I was planning to just stay here tonight, but it seems that might be inconvenient. Are you free tomorrow? I'll come by to pick you up, and we can have lunch together."
