Mou Wen lay on the bed, unable to sleep. She wasn't feeling sleepy, and neither was Bo Zhi. He wanted to ask Mou Wen about the past few years, but figured she wouldn't want to talk about it, so he closed his eyes. Yet, no matter what, sleep wouldn't come, and he tossed and turned restlessly.
Finally, Mou Wen spoke up, "Can't sleep?"
"You can't sleep either?" Bo Zhi retorted.
Mou Wen let out a hum and turned to face Bo Zhi. They lay face to face, very close, able to breathe in each other's scent. Bo Zhi's eyes deepened, but Mou Wen didn't notice as she was lost in thought.
"Bo Zhi, back then, I actually knew I was pregnant."
Bo Zhi made a sound of acknowledgement, "You knew you were pregnant, but you didn't tell me. You just left when you wanted, and left so decisively, right?"
"I'm sorry." Mou Wen lowered her head, feeling a bit ashamed in her heart.
