Every time I see Jian Dan, I don't know why, but it feels so serene, like all inner turmoil has suddenly dissipated. He tiptoes inside and sits by her bedside, looking down at her from above.

His eyes deepen, and just as his lips are about to touch her cheek, he suddenly snaps back to reality, instinctively stands up, and steps back a few paces.
